• (2020-07-10) Fafnir: Worked really well. Twitter seemed to change something that broke it temporarily, but it updated. After this update, though the trending column is gone, so are all images on my timeline. I launched chrome without any extensions and tested each one to see what was causing it and it was this, without any interference from other extensions.
• (2020-07-10) John Murray: It blocks the trending section, but after the update it started blocking all images in my feed. I can see the images after uninstalling this app.
• (2020-07-10) Raúl Vargas: As of today, the extension also hides all multimedia content. It was good while it lasted.
• (2020-07-10) Midori Inaba: Used to love the extension. Unfortunately the latest update also removes images and videos from your timeline and there's no options to make that visible.

However, the extension recently stopped working. I've tried reloading the tab and Chrome as a whole, but the trends remain after both.

• (2020-07-08) Surli Fennec: This was my favorite extension! It's suddenly stopped working despite permissions being enabled and a did try uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm probably the one doing something wrong, but it's frustrating. When it worked, though, it brought me great peace of mind.

• (2020-04-09) Wouter Baars: Didn't work when I installed it, then I noticed that the screenshots have the default light theme. And yes, it does work in light theme. Sadly, I'd take the figurative headache of seeing world wide trends over the literal headache of light theme. Will rate again if I can actually use it in lights out (or dim even).

Looking at twitter trends took so much of my energy, and sometimes I would set it in a random location with a language I didn't understand but this was irritating too. Didn't need the "who to follow" removed, but I just installed and it looks good for now. We'll see how things continue.

  Hello, and sorry to be a bother but recently ( a few hours ago in fact) the extension stopped working for me. Apparently a few others have had this issue as well- was there a recent update for twitter that may have caused it?

  Twitter added a new section called 'What's Happening' and that is not the hide trends anymore, and the extension doesn't cover that. Would you please take a look into this?
