To remove it, you have 2 simple options:
- either you type chrome://extensions in address bar, scroll down and delete it
- either go to chrome, settings, extensions, scroll down and delete it.

Not all pictures are US Army. Also, new tabs change to the developers linked site in about 12 seconds, even if you are typing in a new URL or starting to perform a search. Not only is this extremely annoying it is also counterproductive.
