Der Content Blocker gibt Usern, die Möglichkeit störende Elemente auf Websites zu löschen oder zu verstecken. Das Beste daran? - Die Einstellungen werden gespeichert. Das heißt man muss nur einmal alle nervigen Elemente löschen und sie tauchen nicht wieder auf.
❓ Was ist anders im Vergleich zu einem Adblocker?
Im Gegensatz zum normalen Adblocker kann man selbst auswählen, welche Elemente man blocken will. Man kann außerdem nicht nur Werbe-Bereiche, sondern vor allem Content Elemente löschen, wie Pop-Ups, Cookie-Consents, Newsletter-Widgets, Social-Media Buttons, etc.
🎯 Wem hilft der Content Blocker besonders?
Viele Entwickler nutzen z.B. den Chrome Inspect Mode, um vor dem Lesen eines (Blog-)Artikels die Seite clean zu machen zum besseren Lesen ohne Ablenkung.
Für blinde Menschen, die einen Screenreader verwenden, wird die Lese-Erfahrung ebenso erhöht. Der Content Blocker reduziert dabei nach einmaliger Konfiguration für immer die Elemente (z.B. Navigations-Elemente) der Seite, die nicht vorgelesen werden sollen und stören.
Der Content Blocker ist also keine Alternative, sondern die perfekte Ergänzung zum Adblocker.
👉🏼 So versteck oder löscht man Elemente:
1. Klicke auf das Webpage Cleaner Icon.
2. Wähle mit der Maus, die Elemente aus, die Du löschen willst und Klicke auf das X in der rechten oberen Ecke.
3. Mit wiederherstellen kannst Du gelöschte Elemente wieder anzeigen lassen.
4. Beende den Modus per Klick auf das Webpage Cleaner Icon

• Einstellen, ob Elemente nur versteckt oder gelöscht werden
• Genaue Einstellungen je Seite anzeigen und bearbeiten
• Alle Konfigurationen zurücksetzen
⚠️ Anmerkung
Die Chrome Extension braucht, wie die meisten Erweiterungen, einen Zugriff auf die Webseite, damit die Extension Elemente für dich blocken kann.
Wir versichern, dass wir keine Daten. Einerseits ist es unsere Philosophie der vollen Transparenz, andererseits würde Google zu Recht eine solche Extension irgendwann aus dem Store werfen. Und dafür haben wir zu viel Zeit aufgewendet, um diese Lösung zu entwickeln.

This efficiently blocks only "small" things with "big" effect. A good mountain of content is blocked and you don't even notice that this content is missing. A very clean blocker as a "second adblocker layer and addition to the adblocker". Alone it does not bring very much, but with an adblocker such as "Stop Reclam" or but also "RR Adblocker" it really plays out its full potential! I have the combination "Undetectable Adblocker", "Stop, Reclame", "PopUpOff" and "Cotent Blocker" on at the same time and these are not recognized by antiadblocking system! This has the advantage to surf e.g. on Bild.de with activated Adblocker and enjoy without advertising! For 95% of websites this combination works really great!

This extension is way so good at removing unwanted parts of sites I frequently visit. It would be great if there are some buttons export/import all configuration data (such as the json format). I can add new domains indirectly by clicking the extension icon and blocking website parts. Currently there are no buttons to remove existing domains or add new domains in the "Options" UI interface. It would be great to add these buttons and an editbox to make it possible to edit domains in the "Options" UI interface.
