The My Egypt Store Extension for Chrome requires certain browser permissions in order to function correctly. For full transparency, we have listed permissions below:
Browser Tabs
Since you can have multiple tabs open while browsing, and when you add an item to your My Egypt Store cart, the extension will synchronize that data across each of the browser tabs on which the My Egypt Store extension is active.
We require permissions from each of the open tabs to do this. Please note that we do NOT collect any data on the tabs you have currently open.
Storage
Items you add to your My Egypt Store cart are saved in your Chrome Web Browser. A permission is required to store the product information so that you can access these items from your cart any time.
Broad Hosts
We require permission to all HTTP or HTTPS websites so that we can read product information. This in turn helps us add items to your My Egypt Store cart.
We cannot add an item to your My Egypt Store cart without this information. This information is collected only if you add an item to your My Egypt Store cart.
The product information such as product title/product description, name of the site, price and URL are collected.
