No matter how many YouTube video tabs are open, YouTube Tab Switch ensures that one (and only one) video is always playing! Ever had to constantly switch between multiple YouTube video tabs when pausing a tutorial to play some music while taking notes? Ever open a new video tabs to watch later, only to lose track and have a cacophony of audio? This Extension helps you focus on the video YOU want to watch with two core functions:
1. When you play a YouTube video, all other YouTube videos on different tabs and windows are paused.
2. When you pause a video, the most-recently played video plays automatically in the background, allowing you to have a constant stream of sound

- (2021-12-14) Örs Alexandru Harsányi: This would be very useful if I could have the option to turn off the "WHEN YOU PAUSE A VIDEO, THE MOST-RECENTLY PLAYED VIDEO PLAYS AUTOMATICALLY IN THE BACKGROUND, ALLOWING YOU TO HAVE A CONSTANT STREAM OF SOUND" Feature. I have to turn off the extension just to pause all videos which is just annoying. When I press pause I expect the sound to stop.
- (2020-07-22) M P: seems to work just fine so far. E: unfortunately, stops the current video when opening links in another tab and also disables autoplay when switching to a paused video. E2: it also restarts a finished video if a new one is paused Any chance you could expand onto every other html player? I can only find broad extension that mute, but not pause.
