One thing I'd love is if developers could bypass Chrome's native behavior that make extensions like this semi-working (like focusing at the end of the tabs, while the new tab has opened right next to the current one, or videos starting playing next to the tab I just closed, despite the focus being on the last used tab).

I want an extension that actually does what I - ME ME ME, not Google and not other developers - want my tabs to do! 1) open new tabs/links/ to the right of the existing tab; 2) open links from other applications to a new far right tab; 3) use "+" to open new tab to the far right; 4) close tab returns to the last opened tab.

• (2021-08-07) first name last name: As other users 'open tab right' is a hit and miss, new tab tends to open right of the last opened tab instead of the originating tab. Similar happens to 'left tab after closing', focus sometimes jumps to first tab instead of the one immediately left. I find that using 'Simple Tab Order' at the same irons the hitches most of time; STO has similar issues when I use it on its own.

• (2021-07-09) Tanner Amsler: "Right of current tab" is not working as expected in Version 91.0.4472.124 (Official Build) (64-bit) Hi Team, Regarding "Right of current tab", at first, it funtions well, but half of hour later(or some what time later), it disfunctions(mess here and there, can't specifically tell the appeared logic), i've tried similar ones(e.g: Tab-Position-Customizer-2), also got the exact/98% similar issue. it looks like it's google chrome side issue, not sure if you can fix it or not. hope it can be fixed. thanks.

• (2020-03-23) Jun: 这个插件很好用，但有一点希望能改进一下。回到最后激活的标签页，这个选项，如果最后激活的标签页与当前要关闭的标签页中间存在其他的标签，在关闭当前标签回到最后激活的标签页时会闪一下，比如最后激活的标签页在当前要关闭的标签页左边几个位置，关闭当前页时，会先跳到当前标签的左边那个标签，然后再跳到最后激活的标签页，这样就会看到浏览器闪一下，希望能够解决这个问题。
