Image from store Dark Mode for Salesforce
Description from store Switch the white background of Service Cloud Lightning to dark to work nicely in low-light environments. Prevent dry and itchy eyes, and preserve your vision. DARK MODE FOR SERVICE CLOUD LIGHTNING No need to adjust org settings or ask your Salesforce Admin to do so. You can easily switch from and black to a light theme. You can also tweak contrast and brightness levels in advanced settings. NIGHT SHIFT When staring at a computer screen, we get affected by the harsh blue light it emits. The cold undertone of the screen is proven to harm our sleep and vision. The Night Shift feature decreases your exposure to blue light, making it soft and warm. You can turn the Night Shifts on and off when you need to.

  • (2023-04-02) Gaura Allen: Repost from my review left from an old account on 2022-10-10: I pay $5 a month for Paramount+. That gives me access to a mountain of reasonably high budget content that entertains me for hours. This is Dark Mode for SFDC. What could they even have in common? Ferengi Rule of Acquisition 82: "The flimsier the product, the higher the price" ... Fine. I pay $5 a month for Star Trek. But we're talking Star Trek -a Science Fiction adventure that spans generations- vs an average quality Chrome Extension that I'd be pressed to pay more than $2 an YEAR for, but somehow these yahoos feel entitled to $2.00 monthly for DARK MODE? Get lost. It's Dark Mode. TLDR: I refer you to Ferengi Rule of Acquisition 3: "Never spend more on an acquisition than you have to"
  • (2023-01-02) Roman Koshivka: I use Sales force for 40+ hours a week, often at night in dark room. The fact that SalesForce doesn't have a dark mode option in itself is a shame. This extension is something that I definitely need. The developers took advantage of SF shortcomings and made this extension. It does exactly what you'd expect, doesn't glitch or break layout. Is it worth 2$ per month. I guess it could be cheaper. But there is just so many people who really need it and will pay for it any money at all. I can afford 2 bucks per month to make my work more comfortable.
  • (2022-11-29) Diega: It was what I was looking for until it asked me for money
  • (2022-11-17) Jason Burns: The plugin is great, and the warm colors are much better than actual dark mode. There is nothing wrong with this developer trying to monetize his work, I'm imagining there are many commenters here complaining whom certainly do not ever work for free. #freeconsultants
  • (2022-10-24) Jake Champion: Charging for a feature that is standard on most platforms should be a cardinal sin. Extremely disappointed.
  • (2022-10-14) NOVA TEST: Payment request for future use received, aaaand it's gone!
  • (2022-10-12) Ali Trans: Suck have to pay, if anyone knows another extension who made a dark salesforce, please tell me, cause i won't pay for use this one
  • (2022-10-11) Matthew Faherty: I used this extension religiously, now they want a monthly fee? No way! I'd pay a onetime payment of $5... Maybe!
  • (2022-10-11) Khalil Jannene: What a shame, NOT GOING TO PAY FOR DARK MODE> Deleting this extension SCAM!
  • (2022-10-05) Aryelle Morgan: Can't believe you have to pay for darkmode now. Clearly you aren't concerned with people's health.
  • (2022-10-05) Anton B.: A dark mode isn't worth any amount of money
  • (2022-10-04) Chris H: was free for a long time- now charging a monthly fee even though the company shells out thousands of dollars- no thanks- will find another extension, especially since this was faulty at best- not all screens have darkmode
  • (2022-10-01) Jonathan Clauson: This is a 3rd party extension, not official from SalesForce (from what I can tell) so I am not mad at SalesForce for this (they should have their own in house version but that is another issue). I am disappointed at this developer for suddenly deciding to charge for this. Can they do so? Absolutely. Is it worth the money? Absolutely not. This has been uninstalled. I would suggest avoiding this extension all together.
  • (2022-10-01) Michael Flores Feliz: Let me know when it is free again please
  • (2022-09-30) Matt B: No thanks. Uninstalled.
  • (2022-09-29) Kaley Hall: This is a necessity for many people who have to stare at salesforce 40+ hours a week every week of their lives. It's such a shame you are now requiring payment that I have to take our of my work pay in order to save my eyesight. I've tried looking for a free alternative but at this point you're forcing people to pay for a basic function and should be ashamed.
  • (2022-09-29) Derek Knop: I'm sorry, but it was already bad enough that dark mode required an extension instead of just turning on to match my browser settings. Now you want to charge me $2.16 up front and $2.16 per month after that just to enable basic functionality? This is a SCAM now.
  • (2022-09-28) Jonathan Pusey: [Spits out his coffee] HAHAHAHAhahahaha........! [Catches breath] WAHAHAHAHAhahahaha........! $2/mo for a dark mode extension in addition to the thousands my company already pays?!? [Resumes drinking coffee]
  • (2022-09-28) Christopher Zahorsky: You are out of your mind if you think I'm going to pay for a color scheme....
  • (2022-09-28) Campbell O: Literally charging to change the hex codes on a single browser page. Wonder which level of hell these SquareSpace level developers came out of?
  • (2022-09-28) Julian Maggiore: A basic setting was free, now it's paid :(
  • (2022-09-28) Tony Schmittou: Imagine charging for a dark mode.
  • (2022-09-28) Zoltan Farkas: I am working for company (1000+) who uses and pays for Salesforce. I use dark mode as extension, because for unknown reason the Salesforce team did not included the dark mode into it. And now you want to pay for an extension which should be free when it is not added? Are you joking?
  • (2022-09-27) hannah henrikson: I have used Dark Mode in Salesforce the last 2 years for FREE and due to my migraine. Now out of no were you want to charge people for it. Honestly its disgusting your a Multi-Million dollar company and Half of us don't have a chose because of our employment or small start ups use your platform on a daily basis. Your one of the biggest tech companies and you cant offer this easy technology for free for your millions of customers, I don't think you will be continuing a good customer experience after this. you rather make a few bucks then keep us as happy users. its sad to see. ---Please someone help my migraines are back and I am not paying for this.
  • (2022-09-27) Robert Paul: Everything was fine until they got greedy! Thanks, but no thanks! I don't need dark mode that much.
  • (2022-09-27) jarred: This extension was awesome until yall started trying to get over, oh brother. couldn't yall have just added a donate tab like adblocker?
  • (2022-03-10) Grant Clemens: This seems to work really well so far. I haven't come across any dark-on-dark text, everything seems functionally fine and my eyes are at peace.
  • (2022-02-10) Tara Planas: Works well, looks good, and my eyes are happier.
  • (2021-12-14) Jacob Nelson: Love this extension!
  • (2021-11-09) Cassidy Schulze: This didn't work as well for me as I wanted. The colors don't look good, and it still flashes bright white while loading a new screen. In lightning, it just re-colors each layout component, and the background is still bright.
  • (2021-09-23) Dima Lazarchuk: Thanks for your application!
  • (2021-09-06) Ignacio Machin: It only turns dark the banners and frames, not the body of the page. Hence I am using another dark-theme add-on for chrome which gives me better results.
  • (2021-09-01) Chinmay Jade: Misses the entire background which remain white.
  • (2021-07-09) Nuno Costa: Loved it! finally I'll rest my eyes! :D
  • (2021-06-15) Fletch Fletcher: Lots of modern websites have dark themes that you can switch on with the touch of button. Not salesforce. Salesforce not only makes you install an extension (This is a work tool, not everyone can install extensions in work environments do to differing account permissions), but its not even a real "theme". They just slap a negative filter on top of the page and call it good. It's lazy, it looks terrible and its not even worth switching. Please just implement a regular dark theme. I know it costs money, but surely not as much as the awful salesforce advertising campaign.
  • (2021-06-11) Michael Smith: Does not work on Pop-out windows for Softphones.
  • (2021-06-10) Matt Line: Does not work.
  • (2021-06-04) Carson Haney: Not working/unavailable
  • (2021-03-11) Ingrid B: with Chrome version 89.0.4389.82 it will not override the Window system colors when "High contrast" settings in Windows are turned on. It was still working with Chrome version 88.0.4324.190. Can you please fix this?
  • (2021-01-11) I feel like it was a bit miss to neglect to account for changing the background image. To me, it generates just as much, if not more fatigue when spending hours looking at Salesforce pages.
  • (2020-12-22) René Görgens: Hi there, your extension is awesome, can't live without it! - Tip #1: create a custom theme with #FFFFFF page and global header background - Tip #2: try 90% brightness & 90% contrast I created a Trailblazer Community group named "Dark Mode in Salesforce" which you can join.
  • (2020-11-12) Payum Noshiravan: It's not perfect, but it's a bit better than nothing at all. It darkens most elements within objects but misses the entire background and other apps (like Reports). Will be using this until SFDC Lightning Extension is fixed (if ever) - or if this tool develops full functionality.
  • (2020-08-21) ProductBasement: The background image is still bright. Only the different sections on top of that are dark. This results in very high contrast (even with the contrast turned down in the advanced settings), and makes it hard to look at
  • (2020-08-20) Muhammad Salman Mamoon: Working Dark Mood , Protect your eyes
  • (2020-07-10) Tom Philippou: Really like this app - definitely makes long screen-time more bearable, although on some pages the text (in the Object Manager - detail pages) doesn't change to white so isn't visible unless you highlight it.
  • (2020-07-07) David R: Thank you for this. Upset that salesforce pulled dark mode from their extension. Would it be possible to make it work on reports also? Aside from that excellent extension.
  • (2020-04-01) Maxim Orlovsky: Love how it works, dark theme is awesome and "night shift" is very helpful.
  • (2020-03-22) aldayia bootmiratan: Thank you!
  • (2020-03-22) Dmytro Lazarchuk: Really like this app!
  • (2020-03-13) Igor: Badly inverts even some standard pages like field details in setup - keeps black text on black background.
