Have fun replacing all instances of one word with another on pages you visit.

Description from store
This extension lets you change a word of your choosing with a different one on websites that you're viewing.
For instance, you can change "Bill Gates" to "Shrek" on his Wikipedia page! What fun!
Configure the search and replace words in the extension. Then click on the extension in your browser while on a page where you want to do the word changing, and voila!
Note that this is actually written by my 8 & 10 year old sons, who think this is the best way to learn how to program.

- (2024-06-17) Felain: The extension worked fine for me on Ao3 to change words/character names. My only issue is I have to press the extension button to manually make it change all the words on the page each time I load the next page, instead of being able to make it continuous. But otherwise I'm happy it works! You also have to go all the way into the extension settings page menu in order to make the list of words to change instead of being able to bring it up from clicking the extension shortcut. Edit (forgot to mention): I tested it on the same Ao3 page in both Google Chrome and OperaGX on PC and it worked fine on both, but that's about it. Haven't really tried it on other websites but it gets the job done for me.

- (2021-05-25) neugrek: As Jordan said in his previous comment, this extension doesn't work at all. Even if you add strings/words in the Options, those are not replaced on pages (even after you reload them).

- (2021-03-22) Jordan Lund: Doesn't seem to work anymore. You can add words or phrases to replace but no replacements are made. It looks like whatever code was exploited to make this work has been patched.
