Browser WatchDog scans and removes annoying, intrusive, and malicious extensions that creeped into your browser!

Bad extensions can cause anything from an annoying browsing experience such as bombardment by ads to serious information leakages.
Browser WatchDog works out of the box and immediately after installation scans all your installed extensions, analyzes their permissions, and compares them to known and unknown blacklists and bad actors.
Once a compromised add-on or extension is found in your browser, Browser WatchDog lets you remove it with a single click.
Scanning can be triggered manually by clicking the Browser WatchDog icon but is also done periodically, a few times a day.

- (2021-01-08) Radazz: Its great but I think it has a subliminal message when you uninstall it and its saying that it is "highly recommended to reinstall it" I trusted it again I didn't see no bad software nor virus I think it is giving a "Are you sure you want to remove this extension?" warning if you go to a scam website then it scams you, so its great but for some reason makes me think I'm getting tricked no offense, but I like it a lot, I think its the best. I'm not reporting a problem im saying that it for some what reason the uninstall message makes me feel weird.

I turned all my extensions off, but still won't open in regular chrome browser window so thot I'd try this, but seems too simple to help me diagnose the problem. I'll up my ratings if you have any ideas for me.

- (2020-09-28) Herrick Andrews: I'm really upset. My financial institution required me to install this to access my account, but it makes changes to my computer without asking me. For example, it changed my homepage in Chrome. I can't uninstall it unless I change my financial institution. Believe me, I've already let them know my feelings, and I'd probably live with this if it didn't make un-approved changes on my computer.

- (2020-09-19) Steve Robbins: This thing makes popups, fake messages that some unspecified extension is going to expire, then when you click on it the install button for this sorry excuse for an extension comes up without even an explanation for what it does. You know what? If it deletes malicious extensions, THIS should be its first target. I only installed to make this review then I'm deleting it and complaining to Google about all the lousy popups and nags to install it. If it were any good we would seek it out. It wouldn't have to impersonate a virus or phishing attack. Begone, pest!
