The feature Google just added to Chrome requires 2 clicks rather than just 1 like this extension and the Google one glitches allowing the music to continue playing again when nothing else was clicked.

- (2018-11-25) Mark Stosberg: Does just one thing and does it well. The description should be updated to mention that it also supports activating Play/Pause through a keyboard short. Look in Extensions: Keyboard Shortcuts to set it. I tried some other music app extensions that didn't work when Google Music was launched in it's own windows, but this one does, including the keyboard shortcut. I'm not sure why it has the "Browsing History" permission, though.
