• (2020-11-26) EJE: My kids tried to invite me to a trivia game/room they had started. They emailed me a link, which brought me to a general The People's Trivia Co. video, but it did not take me directly to their room/game, and I didn't see a way to join. Is there something else I should be doing... or my kids in sending me a link? Do they have to send me a code? I did add YouTube Party extension to Chrome. I tried refreshing the page, relaunching Chrome, signing in and out of my account, clearing history and starting over again -- nothing worked. Thanks so much for any advice that can help! - Liz :)

• (2020-10-16) Shelby Anderson: Every time we try to use this extension it thinks about it for a while and then comes back with "Can not find host." Can't even get to the video to try and watch it together.

• (2020-10-03) Haley D: This extension used to work really well for me, but tonight it won't create a party--just gets stuck on an infinite loading loop. I tried removing and re-adding and restarting my computer but nothing worked. I don't think it's my computer, because I had two other friends try to make parties and it wouldn't load for them either.

• (2020-08-25) Brittany Jelinski: University music student here. I installed this extension several months ago when my university classes made the switch to remote learning because of the pandemic. However, I had to pay for it. Later that same day, I found that it had been a free extension for a long time. Once my professor heard from me that I had to pay for it, he made the switch to a different platform - one that would be free to his students.I tried to contact the store to reverse my purchase and get a refund, as I had not even used the extension once and learned that I would not be needing it after all, but I got no response. By the way, the process for trying to get a refund is horrendously convoluted, no doubt purposefully made to be impossibly difficult. Shame on the creators of YouTube Party for capitalizing on the pandemic. Shame on the Chrome Web Store for making refunds essentially impossible. I got tired of getting a pop-up every time I closed a YouTube tab so I finally decided to just remove the extension. I no longer needed the reminder that I was swindled.

• (2020-08-10) Jayy Meyerholt: The thing kept resetting all of us to the start of the video and the chat is slightly transparent. Enough to click through onto a different video if you happen to click wrong on it.
• (2020-07-25) Shireen Abu Shaheen: I thought the extension was useful even though it was a bit buggy. Then I found videos on my history that I never watched and it was actually a friend watching it instead even though we weren't even using the YouTube Party extension together (we used it the day before this happened). Another problem with this extension is that my friend was able to see information that was outside of YouTube like my personal information from Facebook, Google, Microsoft, basically any log in account I have and it's synced in on my friend's laptop. The stuff I had saved as a bookmark were on her Google. If I was watching a video with someone else using this extension then they would have stolen personal information from me easily. You should take this extension down before anyone uses this for bad intentions and then FIX IT.

• (2020-04-07) Josh Dermer: It shows that my friend and I are in the same party but the video is playing at different times (when he presses play it does not start for me, nor does it start for him when I press play). Also my friend and I do not get each others messages in the chat while we're watching (which is the main fun of a watch party). This extension needs major fixes!
