★ This is the LITE version of OceanHero ★
This extension let's you keep performing your searches with your normal default search but you can use our background pictures and see how many ocean-bound plastic bottles our users have collected together.

★ Permissions ★
Like any other extension OceanHero needs certain permissions to function properly:
"Read and change data on all websites": This permission allows us to highlight companies on websites that pollute the environment.
"Communicate with cooperating websites": These permissions are needed to communicate with our web services.
"Replace the page that you see when opening a new tab": We will update your new tab page so that you can easily search with OceanHero every time you open a new tab.
"Read a list of your most frequented websites": The extension needs this permission to display your most frequently visited sites on the new tab page.

- It's a decent extension. It has a noble cause and it works well. My only complaint is that it does not use Google Chrome as it's search engine, instead it uses Bing. But other than that, it's solid!

- I've been using OceanHero for over 4 years already. Since it came out, basically. I use it on every single laptop, or computer. It makes me happier to know I'm helping the planet in some way. I've cleared over 1,000 bottles! :D I'd recommend this to anyone, and I highly encourage you to use it!

- It's amazing. Everything I have is still there, just it's helping remove plastic from the Ocean. I love all the mini games, search bar, and the shell count. I also love how you can change your background to almost anything!

- This was an amazing feature for my device because when I do regular stuff, (ex. searching google) I can help save the ocean. In just two days, I took 50 bottles out of the ocean! And, this adds a much more happy background to google for me which is amazing because I can control what images it showcases. Additionally, in my shortcuts, they even include mini games for me to play which help take out bottles too! what an amazing feature this truly is! Help save the ocean!

- Its amazing! The only thing is when I try to change the background to my own, it takes a while. I changed mine about 4 days ago and it still hasn't loaded. Overall good app and would recommend. Imagine how many marine life you are saving.

- It's amazing, my only problem with it is that it doesn't work with opera GX (whether that's a problem with opera or ocean hero I'm not sure) other than that, it works just as well as crome with added benefits!

- I highly recomend this extension mainly because words can not describe the feeling of opening a new tab and seeing the plastic bottle counter go up
