Use I'm Feeling Lucky from the address bar! Type 'go' and press Space.

Simply type "go" in the address bar, press <Space> or <Tab>, then enter the query you want. Once you press enter, you will be taken directly to the most relevant result. Skipping the search result page altogether.
You can also right-click to search the selected text with "I'm Feeling Lucky" - instead of taking you to the search result page, this will take you to the best result.
Feeling unsure? You can perform your searches normally, then press '1' on the Google search result page to go to the top result.
