• (2024-10-17) René Stout: Ik had al een aantal extensies geprobeerd, maar geen enkele kon wat ik wilde. Dankzij een artikel in chromeunboxed.com kwam ik Tabox tegen. Dat is precies wat ik zocht! Drie functies vind ik helemaal geweldig: 1 - hij slaat ook de Chrome-tabgroepen op; 2 - hij zet de collecties op de Google drive, waardoor je ze ook op jouw andere apparaten kunt gebruiken; 3 - Je kunt collecties updaten, waardoor je ze ook kunt gebruiken om verder te gaan waar je was gebleven. Perfect!!! Dat was in september 2022. Het is nu oktober 2024. Google heeft nu ein-de-lijk zijn tabgroepen op orde. Hiermee zou Tabox overbodig worden. Toch is het nog handig omdat Chrome altijd de actuele situatie binnen een groep opslaat. Je mist dus de functie in Tabox om een profiel (of noem het sjabloon) op te slaan om later terug te kunnen naar de uitgangssituatie.

Right now if I have 2 windows with multiple tabs / tab groups in each of them, it will only save the tabs from the current active window. If I want to save all of my tabs accross my windows (for example before restarting so I can open them all again after that) I have to go in each window and save..

• (2023-07-26) Michał Dybczak: Doesn't work. I see the icon of the extension but it's not clear what to do. I wanted to add a tab to a new collection but there is no such option after right-clicking the tab (even after refreshing the tab). In short, the extension turned out to be usless.

I didn't realize it syncs only upon clicking on the extension, so when I clicked the extension on my secondary computer it made my primary computer sync to an older version, rolling back months worth of data.

• (2023-03-31) Jeff: I love it. The import / export is very powerful to especially transport session between devices. 2 suggestions: 1. Import use the file name as the session name 2. The option menu becomes flashing / fuzzy on some settings. I fixed one b/c it was set to zoom at 90%. On the other, it's set at 100%. Could it be with the text size that's causing the fuzz look? I think an option page in a tab will work fine.

This app has attention to detail such as giving you time to revert a saved tabox if you accidentally saved the wrong tabs. Kudos to the dev!
• (2022-11-04) Dr.Ne0Gen3tic (Forensic Buro of Quantum): I have long been looking for an extension that saves the tabs and has a sync function at the same time. Unfortunately the sync function does not work here at all! I could "load in" the tabs from a file, but I don't want that! I need explicitly this sync functionality! Even if I press the button "Load back-up from Google Drive", this does not work. Yes, even worse, it syncs "unconditional pure nothing" and the back-up is overwritten with "absolute nothing" and is deleted! This synchronization functionality here is the purest farce! Completely unusable and totally shamefully implemented wrong! I'm going to stick with the "Vivaldi Browser" now. At that place/point/location the "Save Tabs" is not equipped with such a nice and pretty "GUI", but at least there the synchronization works without problems. Also, Vivaldi is very reliable to the extreme as far as any sync mechanisms are concerned! I cannot recommend this extension here! This one is completely poorly implemented and the purest junk, grit, garbage, mechanism and a duck head! (It's called that, isn't it? It is a duck head? With me in Germany there is the saying "He is or has found a huge duck head in the sand on the beach" when something is bad! But my English is also unfortunately not so good!).

I use it constantly and also told my friends at work to use it so instead of passing them a bunch of links relating to assignment, I just export to them the collection. One thing though, sometimes when I try to open existing collections it gets stuck and nothing is open, so I have to reopen each link in the collection, recreate the groups and then save the collection again (and then it opens again). Raising to your attention if you can check. Again, awesome !

• (2022-01-06) Dylan Gadwa: I tried 'em all. This one has the best functionality, best UI and is easiest to use. Memory footprint is a little higher than the others but they don't do half of what Tabox does. Essential Chrome plugin.

I have one issue only – time to time it logs me out (on different PCs with different systems) and I am not able to log in again - the log in link does nothing. The only way I found to fix this is to remove the extension and install it again – then it is possible to log in easily.

• (2021-09-02) Joni Sakasho: An awesome extension for anyone, but especially for someone who needs to organize tabs, and quickly come back to a certain set. I use it at work to organize my active project windows (I'm a Developer), and on my personal computer to categorize active stuff by usage (shopping, articles, etc.). Just dive back in where you left off. The huge plus side is that Chrome dies a little less, when I can open/close tab sets, which I otherwise would have kept open. =) Thank you for this extension!
