• (2021-03-12) Benjamin Gibbs: This app stopped working recently, and I've had no response from the developer. As of last week, whenever anyone in the watch party types in chat, it interprets it as keyboard shortcuts for the video. Whenever someone types a space in chat, the video pauses/unpauses. When someone types an "m" in chat, it mutes. This happens for everyone watching, no matter who starts the party. It's a great extension, I just wish it were still working or that the developer would respond to my email.

• (2020-09-18) Daniel Martín: The chat at the moment from what I have tested is working well, it is very similar to Netflix Party, although I would like the colors of the chat to be lighter, sometimes it is difficult to read what the other person says. It would also remove the Facebook and Twitter ads that are posted in the lower right corner. In Windows 7 the emojis do not go well, they cannot all be displayed, nor are they seen in color. Please resolve these issues. Except for that I think it is a good option for now.

It's free (as compared to other D+ Parties that cost $2.99), you can watch with minimal (<1s) to no delay with your friends or S.O. over the Internet. It's an amazing app that is super simple to use. They even can help you over the email if you have issues. Definitely a must have!

• (2020-08-07) Howie Tilkin: It would be immensely helpful if only 1 person's account was able to control the play/pause. We experienced pauses each time someone entered the party. Otherwise, it was great to be able to share together as a group while watching!

I'm not tech savvy but I was able to get it working with ease during my socially distant movie night. An additional feature I'd like to see is for the party to stay connected in the event that the host leaves the party. Despite that missing feature, I would still highly recommend this for anyone streaming Disney Plus with friends.

The link just sended me to the movie on Disney+ not the party, if i click the extension button, it makes me host a party, there is no join button. The link is just a link to a video in D+. Not a party link, this does not work at all.

• (2020-07-21) Kieran Davey: It worked occassionally, but mostly did not work. My friend would join, but I couldn't see her messages. We would try refreshing it or resending it and it still would not work. Twice, it seemed to work, but this is a super inconsistent plug-in. Would not recommend.

When each day, one after the other is a constant stream of the same websites, television shows, songs and walls to stare at, just the smallest kind interaction can make a whole week stand out. DPlus party is by no means a perfect application right now, but I don't think anything is - and the customer service I have received from the creator of DPlus Party has been far better than anything you'd encounter through a bigger application. Not to mention, it is a wonderful tool. To be able to watch something at the same time as somebody else, on different devices, in different countries even, is no small feat, though it may seem small in the time we live where everything technological seems possible. But for somebody to create a program that allows you to do this is a huge achievement and as a film fan whose friend-base is substantially made up of people she doesn't know in real life I can say the value of tools like this cannot be overstated. If you've never used an extension like this before, I can assure you DPlus Party is easy to use and navigate once you get the hang of how it all works - just a simple link and you're joined. If you by any chance have an issue with this extension you will not be ignored or forgotten, you will have your problem fixed quickly and smoothly and you will feel like you're talking to a real person throughout the process. It's easy to forget that behind every website or application is not a robot but a real living person who is trying to create something to the best of their abilities - and in this particular case giving it away for no money at all. So if you do encounter problems with this free application or any like it, take a second to wonder how would you fare at making something like this? Would it be seamless, or would it take some figuring out the nooks and crannies? My bet is on the latter. So reach out and have a little patience. I want to say thank you to the creator for giving my friend and I something to laugh about during quarantine and brightening our day when he helped us with our issues and for even emailing us an update on how he was going to move forward with it weeks after our talk - I didn't expect that second interaction and it was a pure example of great customer service. I don't know about the rest of you but I truly appreciate any small kindness I can get right now.

We live in different countries, so the fact that we can watch movies together with very few glitches is a miracle to me. With the few problems we have encountered, Aaron has been very quick to help us in any way he can and we usually get it resolved that day. I expect him to keep working out the bugs for everyone and highly suggest you take advantage of this wonderful FREE service.
• (2020-06-28) Ryan Aveo: This is a great, and free, option to watch Disney Plus shows with others remotely! I have been using this a lot during lockdown. Pausing and replaying the current stream with other users in the party is seamless. The chatroom UI is minimal and fun to use with the emojis. Some improvements I would love to see: - Joining a party through the link should automatically add the user to the chat and notify both the user joining and the whole party. I didn’t know I had to press join on the extension button when clicking on the link. - Persist party after an episode ends, it's hard to binge when we have to start a new party on each episode :( I love this extension since it makes staying connected with friends so much easier through some nostalgic Disney shows. I can't wait to see the improvements!

Is it possible to get this fixed. If it worked, installing and running it was pretty smooth but it just didn't provide a URL to share.

  hi! my friend and i, who use netflix party all the time which works in the exact same way (send the link click the extension to join etc), have downloaded this but it isn't working for us. i'll send the link to him (which has the session ID and all in it) but when he clicks on it and clicks join we don't seem to be in the same chat. both of our chats say they have one participant and we don't see any messages. we're not sure what we're doing wrong because we've done the same thing so many times before with netflix party. any help would be greatly appreciated!
