As mentioned by various other reviews and replied to by the owner, the owner insists they are not displaying ads. If you don't mind the ad keep using it. I mind the ad and am uninstalling.

Pushing to talk results in rapid toggle of mute/unmute and the quick-press only occasionally works to mute/unmute. Also meet is not started as muted as default. Can't atm identify that any of the functions work as intended.

  Hello, I would like to point out that the extention will not work with some users because of the diversity of deafulted google account language. So in general, the extention only works if the person defaulted his google account language to english. It seems has no avails to any other language such as Spanyol, Arabic, Indonesian, ect. I would like to suggest that you need to build compatibility for the extention. Or notify every users that the extention only works in english language.   Hi! I have a windows 10 machine with Google Chrome 83.0.4103.61 (Official build, 64 bit). When using your extension holding the space bar doesn't unmute but instead toggles mute/unmute repeatedly back and forth. Also changing the keybinding doesn't have any effect and space bar is the only key that has any effect even if the plugin interface says that another key is is set. I have tried to update Chrome, relaunch it and also tried to use the on screen keyboard to see if it was an hardware issue but the virtual keyboard exhibits the same issues. Would love to see this plugin work. Might be a windows thing if you develop on Mac. Maybe key presses are different between the systems even if the browser is the same. Thank your for developing this and I hope you can get it to work or give me some tips on how to make it work.

  first of all, thank you for your great work on the "Google Meet Push To Talk" chrome extension, it can be very handy for my kid's colleagues, since they all have a 1h classroom on Meet during this pandemic. Your extension works a treat, but only when it's used by the primary google account associated with Chrome. In my case, I have my personal google account, and added a second one given by my kid's school, so he can attend the online classes, and when I choose that profile, meet adds an &authuser=2 to the end of the URL, and with it there, your extension doesn't work. If I switch back to the primary account (the authuser suffix dissapears), all works as expected. Can you please make it so that it also works on non-primary addresses?

  Hello, thanks for the extension. However, it does not seem to be working as expected. The mute on join does not work and when the microphone is on, the hotkey (space) does not turn it off. When the microphone is off clicking the hotkey toggle it on and the back off. By the name of the extension i would expect it to work as a walkie-talkie with the microphone remaining on only while i press the hotkey and returning to off after releasing it. Right now it is slightly more convenient than using the native shortcut "ctrl-e".
