• (2021-04-05) Captain Scott Pooler: This a great plugin for chrome but needs some UI improvements for usability. I love the download capabilities! No doubt, but when you simply want to use the Instagram volume controls and they are covered up by the Byond buttons, it makes the user experience FRUSTRATING! Every time I want to see a video with sound I must first open up Chrome settings, go to extensions and disable Byond. The only reason I have not removed the extension completely for this reason is because of the usefulness of the Instagram downloads. Please - Just inset your Byond buttons a little more toward the center of the frame, away from the standard Instagram controls... PRETTY PLEASE
• (2021-04-03) Rebecca Hallstrom: I am loving the control of Byond. Being able to type from my desktop and choosing the shape of the photos has been a real plus. Only issue I have is thatI can't upload more than one photo at a time.
• (2021-02-25) Kris Ex: App is great when it works, but it is buggy and it often blocks the ability to access the volume on video posts. Also: That sidebar on every page when not using the app is unnecessary and deactivating it only makes the app even more buggy. UPDATE: App continues to be more buggy everyday. This may very well be Instagram or Chrome's fault, but at a certain point it doesn't matter—the app doesn't always perform as advertised or expected and that's that.

• (2021-01-13) Taylor Blews: As of latest update, the new placement of the Byond download and share buttons (specifically the share button) covers up the native sound on/off button on Instagram videos. It is impossible to enable the sound on a video, the large clickable area of the share button (bigger than the button itself) makes it open the Byond share interface every time. Please give us an option to get rid of this overlay on the image or video and go back to having the Byond buttons in Instagram's button row where you had them before, or just revert this change entirely. Until you do, this extension is not only useless (I can't share a video I haven't checked the audio on yet), but it actually prevents me from just using Instagram! This was one of my favorite extensions for my professional workflow (social media manager), but the latest update makes me wonder if the people who make this actually even use it, or who they're designing it for. If you can fix this, I will adjust my review to five stars.

• (2020-12-03) Ivalynn Pollock: I mostly use my desktop for my social media so this was wonderful, however, since I started using it, I'm constantly getting locked out of my Instagram account "due to suspicious activity", which is super annoying because I'm having to change my password almost every day. I'm considering removing it for that reason.
• (2020-12-02) Tara Van Nostrand: I loved it at first because it was so easy to post things to Instagram from my PC but then it stopped working and I had to keep shutting down and restarting it over and over again. I wish it worked even half the time. Great idea just doesnt work very well.

• (2020-12-01) Darshani Wilson: I had this extension for a day and instagram immediately kicked me out for security issues and now I can't receive my security code to get back in. I believe this addon is a violation of instagram's terms of service somehow. DO NOT USE THIS.
• (2020-11-25) Addo Workman: It worked great for the first few times I used it....it was able to post images with a text post with extended list of tags...but after a month of use and an update, it refuses to post anything in the text box EXCEPT the last tagged word...really frustrating. So you can only do a descriptor text and no tags at all, and that's a hit on views. That and it's only able to post one image at a time is kind of a bummer for something you want to have two or three images- over all it's okay, you can still tag photos on insta with a comment, but it will take a lag on hits, which can suck. I love the idea a lot though, as I'm a laptop user and HATE using mobile for social media, hopefully it can be improved.
• (2020-11-07) BassFlute MK123: I installed it, used it a few times then it stopped working. I removed it and reinstalled it and still nothing. IDK it stopped working but I am disappointed because I don't have a cell phone for awhile so this was the only way I could post on Instagram. I hope they fix this soon.
• (2020-11-01) John Leahy: This was working great, but now the uploader is not working. I really liked how it let me resized photos, none of the other desktop apps seem to be able to do that as well. Uninstalled but can not find a replacement so I tried again. Curiously however, after uninstalling I stopped getting pop ups.
• (2020-09-17) Michael Newberry: Love this. Took no time to download and upload an image from my computer, idiot proof, and saves the hassle of getting an image from pc to instagram. Thank you. I haven't get tried the download or sharing tools.

• (2020-09-07) Scott Collins: Unable to complete a post. I add the pic...no problem, click on "Next", am able to write a caption...no problem. Look for a "next" or "post" button...problem. No further actions are available and can't post the pic.

• (2020-08-15) Aron Hethcox: I just downloaded beyond, and I tried to upload my first video. However nothing happened, when the box came up where you can resize it, add your comments, there was nothing there. So I'm guessing that this thing does not do video. it seems to work with pictures which is cool, but I mainly download videos on my Instagram. i. I give you 3 stars because what it can do it does well.
• (2020-08-11) Great Lakes Aerial Video Services: Great idea, but you need to be able to upload more then one photo, like you can on the app. This is a must.
• (2020-08-11) Jo D'Anna: just installed it and tried to post on Instagram. Not sure I understand all the ins and outs of Byond, but I was able to post 3 photos. I tried to post a video though (not on YouTube) and nothing happened. I got the screen that shows you the process of your post to Instagram (the square box with "Next" on the bottom and "feed" on the top) but it's just blank with nothing in it. I am waiting to see if it takes longer to upload the video--could be awhile. Or does it upload videos at all?
• (2020-08-06) Clear Cut Method: Worked great on the first post, however, i strongly recommend going into the extension setting and giving permission to ONLY allow the extension to read and change all data on SPECIFIC sites you visit, aka instagram.com. Its set by default to all sites..which means every site you visit. Also, important to note that this is standard and can also be found in the extension settings. "Warning: Google Chrome cannot prevent extensions from recording your browsing history. To disable this extension in incognito mode, unselect this option." Its pretty basic, but i dont feel like a lot of people know.
• (2020-08-05) Bonnie Blackwell: I was loving Byond...until last night, all of a sudden the "button" is missing on my photos/content I want to share. Now I have a large floating Byond button...all it does is open my IG feed...I can't post anything using it. I am now unable to share photos via Byond.

• (2020-07-25) David C. Barker: I downloaded this extension for my Chrome browser and I went to Instagram and I can see the difference it makes. The posting and sharing features from my desktop computer are great. I will say, I did take the time to look at the features to familiarize myself with them and learn how to use them. So far, so good. 🙂👍
• (2020-07-25) Chip Wickings: I like this for posting images to Instagram from my computer, however, I have to leave the extension disabled because the little icon covers every little link on ANY page. I only turn it on when I want to post something to Instagram and then turn it right back off.

• (2020-07-23) Zippy Miester: A good app. I can just instantly post what I captured from my camera on PC with just a couple clicks. However, your icon link (with the Byond's symbol) pops up wherever I click. Like, whenever I'm choosing a wallpaper for my facebook post, I am unable to click any other wallpaper options. Because Byond's icon link literally covers them. And the icon link spontaneously pops up wherever I want to click stuff, and I'll have to reopen the tab to clear it all.
• (2020-07-19) michael isaac: Great concept, still some features are needed that mobile instagram has. Multiple pictures in one post, repost to story, uploading video, looking at post analytics just to name a few.
• (2020-07-16) Jeremy Ratcliff: I use Instagram on my phone daily and was looking for a solution to use it on Desktop. I stumbled across Byond and was amazed at how I could easily post, download and share images. I highly recommend this product!

• (2020-07-13) Andrew Hicks: Well, it's a great idea. As someone that generally works from a computer rather than mobile, I have avoided Instagram for years. This app inspired me to start an Instagram account. But then I went to upload a photo... and nada. Tried again. Nothing. One more time. Still nothing. There's no error code or anything like that. The photos simply don't appear after the upload process. So, yeah, great idea, but zero functionality so far for me.
