Scroll with your trackball

Image from store Trackball Scroller
Description from store Trackball Scroller lets you scroll pages with your trackball. When you activate "scroll mode", you can roll your trackball to scroll. Browse infinite-scrollable websites or long documents easily. Flick the ball to jump quickly, or move it slowly to scroll in a smooth continuous manner; gives better scrolling experience if you're not satisfied with your trackball's scroll wheel. No spyware, no ads, no sending user data anywhere. Open sourced: https://github.com/jj-143/trackball-scroller-chrome NOTE: DOESN'T WORK on most pages on Yahoo using sandboxed iframe - Yahoo News, Finance, etc. Works best with trackballs, feels awkward with traditional mice, no big changes with two-finger scroll on touchpads - except one finger vs two fingers. --- • customize shortcut with a mouse button or a key (key combo activates on the largest scroll element on the screen.) • sensitivity let me know if it doesn't work on any particular websites.

Awesome extension! Really helps for using a Logi Trackman Marble on Chromebook. I can't get it to work on some Chromebook pages, like Settings or Chrome Web Store. Thank you.
  • (2021-02-21, v:1.0.1) Ian Oliver: Broken options page
The options page (chrome-extension://digndhblfngkigcehjiddacoibjmkkdf/options/options.html) appears broken for me. First, Chrome detects it as being written in Latin and wants to translate it for me. Second, the extension's crystal ball-like icon is nearly as wide as the page (and therefore also very tall, necessitating scrolling down to see the options). Third, the options don't actually appear—all I see are the headings "Trackball Scroller", "- Options -", and "test your scroll" (the last of which is so far down that the descender of the "y" is out of view when the scrollbar is as far down as it goes). Therefore, I don't know how to activate scrolling. (Going by the posted screenshot, the default might be "Mouse 3", which I guess is the middle button. However, my trackball (Logitech TrackMan Marble) lacks a middle button, so I can't try that, and I can't set it to anything else because the options page is broken. (Yes, I tried refreshing it.))
