Maybe it has its flaws such as the unspecificity of the time a person attends or leaves the meeting, but, still, it's a quite useful tool. Sadly, after the Meet update, this app is no longer useable. Please, developers, can you update this app too? I do not want to uninstall this amazing tool from my Chrome. Of all the alternatives I have tested, this one is the best. Has it been perfect... no.. but neither has Teams, Google Meet or Zoom! The newer version Google Meet Attendance - V2 is available using my school account but for some reason I can't find it using my personal account. Until Google pushed an update of Chrome today (May 26th) this version was working well for me. If you have an issue with the title bar only appearing, try removing the extension and then re-adding it to Chrome... worked for me!

All I see is the extension toolbar and it is fixed in default position (no class name, student roster, etc. - just the graphic toolbar). I can't click any of the toolbar options, and the check in the control panel (to hide the extension) is missing. It didn't take attendance and no reports to download. I have tried the uninstall/reinstall, but no luck. Please help. Thanks!

The new version also has a list of student names visible in its images, making it seem more likely to be a hack/not concerned with student privacy. The only problem, in my opinion, is when the meet disconnect (poor internet or some internet error) and automatically reconnect. In this case, the extension goes off and does not store data for the same meet. You can download the course's previous file, but if new students join the meet or disconnect after the crash, no records are stored.

At this time I am currently facing challenges with the extension not automatically marking students present as they enter the meeting while I am sharing my screen during a lesson. Additionally, when I do stop sharing my screen it will mark the attendance, however it does not capture the true timestamp of the students duration during meeting. As soon as I share my screen the it only timestamps for that period. I would love for this to be fully automated as it was in the beginning as this is a great extension!   Hey, I love this addon so much. Lately, though, it's hit or miss whether this weird thing will happen for me--I sometimes get just rows of black with the students' names in lieu of the usual video grid (I'm using grid view [fixed]) and then the attendance addon won't show them as present until they speak. Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I can't for the life of me figure out why it sometimes will happen, but other times, no. I suspect this is actually just a Meet issue, but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this...? Thanks.

  Hello there, 1. in the recent updates there have been some problems like there are additional classes created with the name "undefined" which are equal in number as to the original number of classes, like if I have 4 classes, then there are 4 more classes with the name undefined and deleting these unwanted classes also leads to the deletion of the original classes. 2.
