Features:
- Automatically translate youtube video subtitles, Automatically get youtube video subtitles, Upload subtitles to notepad and share social networks like: Twitter, facebook and linkedin.
- Automatic translation of video subtitles: This extension will automatically activate Youtube™ auto translation for the selected language (even if this feature is not available in the menu) every time the subtitle function be activated. This saves you a few clicks, but most importantly this allows you to use the automatic translation feature even when it is not available in the menu, as is the case with some videos because a number of reasons.
- Automatically get video subtitles: The extension will automatically get all subtitles of any video on youtube with just 1 click. And allows you to edit content right on the popup extension.
- Upload and share subtitles automatically: The extension gives you the tool to post video subtitles after downloading and editing, to notepad to save or share the subtitle link on popular platforms such as: Twitter, facebook and linkedin.
Note: The feature of getting video subtitles, editing subtitles, posting subtitles and sharing the link to save subtitles on notepad only works at www.youtube.com/watch. For the social sharing link feature, the buttons are only enabled when you are logged in.

Here is the error message: "Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'id')" In the popup inspector: "Audit usage of navigator.userAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform A page or script is accessing at least one of navigator.userAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform. Starting in Chrome 101, the amount of information available in the User Agent string will be reduced. To fix this issue, replace the usage of navigator.userAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform with feature detection, progressive enhancement, or migrate to navigator.userAgentData. Since the feature is also available on youtube since a week or so by default, but unfortunately it cant be turned off, even switching the browser doesn't help. The reason I found this AddOn was, that I was looking for the exact opposite of this AddOn: the subtitles for videos of all languages are not being autotranslated into a once predefined langue, but stay the original language of the video. It would be highly appreciated if you could write such an AddOn as well.

I am watching mostly English narrated video and my preferred sub is English and this app is hiding or disable my sub. there are reason I need the sub regardless any language due to noisy environment/outdoor. - (2022-03-15) Tee Bee: It is so nice not to have to go in and set the auto-translation language for each video, thank you for that! The only negative is that if the captions are already in English, they either appear in a giant block at the start of the video (like a transcript) or else don't appear at all, so the extension has to be disabled to view the English captions. Sometimes when the extension is on, auto-translated captions also appear in a block at the start of the video, so that may or may not be due to the extension. The extension is still worth using if you watch a lot of YouTube videos with captions that need to be translated.

- (2022-03-05) Kevin Dean: New issue just started today. Youtube may have changed something. It works as expected when a foreign caption is available, but if the video already has English it previously would show that English caption normally. Now for videos with English captions, it shows all of the captions on at the same time at the beginning of the video, filling the entire video window and going off screen, so none of the captions are appearing at their timings throughout the video. If I use "Toggle Youtube Subtitle translation on/off" and set to off, the captions appear normal again.
