Sanitize It! - a simple keyboard hygiene reminder extension designed to promote healthy PC usage practices.
Did you know that your PC keyboard has more germs than a toilet lid [Sarah Miller RN, Keris Krennhrubec, and Diana Zuckerman, PhD, National Center for Health Research, 2017]?
Sanitize It! reminds you to wash your hands periodically and to clean up your keyboard daily.
The reminder options are customisable from the extension pop-up window, simply click the icon in your toolbar:
* Number of keystrokes before the wash your hands reminder appearance - the default one is 15 thousand (15000) which amounts to roughly one hour of typing
* Keyboard cleanup reminder
Instructions:
On the installation completion, please refresh your open Chrome tabs in order to initialise the extension.
This extension does not keep track of any actual content you are typing, only the key pressure fact.
This extension does not transfer any data to your other Chrome instances or any third parties.
This extension has access to your tabs contents and Chrome local storage.
This extension does not record or store any tabs content opened in your instance of the Chrome browser.
