Show Twitch chat on top of the stream player (live and VOD). Keep up with chat, send messages, automatically claim channel points, and more, without leaving fullscreen mode (or expanding sidebar chat).
Customize position, font, background on a per stream basis and sync and store your preferences across your devices. Twitch dark and light themes supported by default.
Once installed, a Chat Overlay button will be added to the bottom right buttons panel of the Twitch video player which you can click to toggle the chat overlay on/off.
Choose the perfect position, font size, color and that's it!

- Used to be great but the settings has now broken in the way that you can't scroll through the so only the top portion of the settings are available, pleas fix and I'll change it to 5 stars!

- i cant change font size as i cant see past "auto claim channel points", others that this everything is perfect.

- Is the chat overlay disappearing for anyone else? It only shows if my mouse hovers over it. VODs work just fine, it's live that has this issue.

- Bug right now where icon is very large and if you exit fullscreen when watching a VOD the overlay will freeze, need to refresh to fix Edit: Bug has been fixed as of me writing this on 6/16/25

- Works great for me, no lag that I noticed and you can use it in live streams too (I just tested it on Remmys stream for live and Tomatos vods. only thing I wish it had that I didnt see at least yet, is an option to change the size and transparency,. Id love to see it more transparent and saw others wanting to see it less, anywhots thanks!

- As others have said, great when it works, but it's currently broken. The button does not appear on the player at all. Please fix as I love this extension!

- One day its perfect, second day its broken. I used it this way for a year. Fix this shiiiiiiet. This time, i cant see the logo on the bottom bar so i cant enable it. A month ago, same logo was 12x bigger

- very cool works as expected and i can watch streams in fullscreen now !! PagMan some things could be improved - big chat button but this doesnt really matter since you dont see it 99% of the time, and resizing height means you cant see the newest messages at the bottom asap, but this doesn't really matter either when you're watching streamers with fast chat

- Its a good extension, but I have to keep it off because on ModView, it keeps indefinitely loading thousand and thousand of "actions" and make it all very laggy.
