This is for sure one of the easiest ways to watch Netflix together with friends or loved ones

I cannot give it the full five stars because the user interface did not provide med with an intuitive way to cancel my subscription to the premium feature. I see other people experience the same issue and I imagine it’s due to being logged in and already being under the ”Start Session” tab. Try logging out and back in to get back to the ”Front page” of the extension where you should see a ”Manage account” button.

- (2022-12-29) Shannon Downer: Great concept and seemed to work at first. My friend and I started a session and sat chatting for a moment before starting the show. By the time we started, the standard servers apparently became overloaded and we could no longer watch without a premium account. We found this to be absolutely ridiculous as it was working just a moment before. Very disappointed.
- (2021-12-06) Brandon Bolling: After installing this extension and watching a show together with a friend on Netflix, I discovered that I can no longer use Netflix separately from the "party"--even if I close the browser and launch a new instance, on trying to go to netflix.com I am redirected to the "party" session watching whatever we were last watching. Even if I navigate "back" using the Netflix UI while in this view, it again takes me straight to the party again. There doesn't seem to be any way to get out of this state, so it seems that I need to uninstall the extension. It's a shame, too, because this one seems to work better than other similar extensions we've tried in the past...except for that one major issue.

- (2020-07-27) Charisma Henderson: For months we struggled with another extension thinking it was all there was out there. Then after enough pain and suffering we discovered we did in fact have options! After a quick jaunt with an extension that had no chat feature we quickly discovered this gem! Emojis! Chat name lengths as limitless as our imaginations! Ability to jump from episode to episode, even previous episodes! Ability to CHANGE SHOWS WITHOUT A NEW LINK!!! Mind officially blown! We went from having to drop new links as many as 5 times an hour with chat glitches and episodes skipping interrupting the fun to one link and only one link. Occasionally there is a glitch and the episode doesn't transition for everyone and the host can refresh their browser and boom! Everyone is synced back up! The rate at which we change our names makes it difficult to know who is who w/o a little icon. And you can only see how many people are in the chat not who has entered or left (they have to announce their arrival and departure). And the chat box is on the bigger side. Even with these things this extension gets 5 stars from me. We have been so grateful to find it and have made our Netflix Together-ing that much more enjoyable as we've been able to remain focused on the watching and no longer worrying about if the next episode will skip or not.

Imagine if you will, a group of friends trying to watch a show together, but the extension keeps crashing, causing sadness, separation, and of course FURY. This extension does not do that. We can jump from episode to episode, series to series, seamlessly at will, like a leaf on the wind of an ocean's breeze. Netflix Together even includes a chat function so that users might confabulate with their friends whilst watching. By the using of this extension instead of other analogous extensions, you will not be bedeviled by glitches etc. In closing, Netflix Together is a wonderful extension and I think it should be considered for Sainthood, by the current Pope, miracles abound using this to watch with friends.

It would be nice to have the option to copy/paste your friend's session URL into the sidebar to Join a Session. In my experience, it might have made it possible to watch together even if clicking the URL that my friend sent me wasn't loading me properly into their session (it would only load me to my netflix + sidebar, with the option to Create a Session.) My friends and I each downloaded the extension, and figured out how to open the sidebar. We've attempted the rest of the process from both directions, hoping one of the browsers might work better, with much less success. We can each 'Create session', but when we try to send the link to the other person, the link just takes them to the Netflix page with the sidebar that says 'Create Session', or sometimes even 'Click to activate the sidebar on the Netflix website'. Hey, I really enjoy your app, but please change back to showing the full message in the notifications instead of just informing me that I have new messages. It forces me to open the sidebar for every little "lol" because I don't want to miss anything important. Also while I'm at it, it would be great if I could open the sidebar by clicking directly on the notification. Thanks a lot and sorry for my whining ;)
