• (2023-04-11) Benoît Boucher: Simple, lightweight, does what it's supposed to do. Perfect! For those who report that the extension does not work or does not shut the camera, maybe you are experiencing something similar to me: on a PC running Windows 7, my camera's ON indicator (a green light) would sometimes remain lit even though the camera signal was OFF. This issue is gone now that I have upgraded to Windows 11.

  This addon seems to break the ability for me to hear other participants in a call. Testing the audio in google meet still lets me hear the testing bell - but I can't hear actual people. Disabling the addon restores my ability to hear other participants. Using Chrome 119.0.6045.123 on macos 14.1.1

  This works when I join a previously created meeting. However, when I go to meet.google.com, click "New Meeting", and click "Start an instant meeting", my camera and mic are on. Can you fix this?
