Real time voting on YouTube Live
#Poll enables creators and moderators of YouTube Live broadcasts to create polls which viewers can respond to -- all using YouTube live chat. Ask a question to your audience, which they can vote on using hashtags, with the results tallied live. Use it to open up creative explorations such as ‘choose your own adventure’ style performances, and interactive productions. Users who download the extension will be able to utilise the full range of features, but those without can still join in and vote in polls.
A viewer can:
- See questions displayed in the live chat, or overlaid on screen, depending on the moderators settings
- See votes tallied in real time
A creator can:
- Set up a live poll with any question you like
- Ask open ended questions or provide suggested answers
- Collect answers from all users, even those without the extension
- Avoid spam by restricting users to one answer each
- Multiple ways to display finished poll results
- Show a vote tally in the comments section for users with the extension installed
- Option to hide current poll results, to maintain suspense
