• (2025-02-27) Abhay Shrivastava: From where does it store the time that I take on any question, as it did not require any signup? Yesterday when I reattempted a question that I solved a month ago, the timer started from where I left it after solving it that time.

• (2024-07-17) Navin Thomas: - This extension requires permission to read and change all data on all sites. Ideally, it should request this permission for only leetcode.com. Luckily, Chrome provides an option to restrict this permission to specific sites. We can do this after granting this permission for all sites (during the installation of the extension). - The timer stops running when the focus is away from the tab or browser for a while (like more than 10 minutes). It resumes running when the focus returns to the tab/browser. I use a local notepad editor application to write the code and then copy paste the code back into the LeetCode editor on the site. So, my workflow or steps to replicate the issue is: 1. Open LeetCode problem 2. Start the extension's timer 3. Navigate away from the browser to a local notepad editor like, for example, Sublime Text 4. Take some time to code the solution in the local notepad editor 5. Copy the code from notepad editor and return to the browser to paste the code and then run it or submit it. 6. I notice that timer does not accurately reflect the time I spent on the problem. I cross checked this with a stopwatch timer on my smartphone.

• (2023-08-15) Bamboo King: I founded that there was an update recently, and this extension doesn't seem to work on the old ui of leetcode. Leetcode currently supports restoration from the new ui to the old ui, could you make this timer still work on the old ui ? Thank you very much!

• (2022-01-20) Amy Qiu: Simple. unobstructive. I really like how little real-estate this tool takes up in its always-there functionality. What would be neat is if there was an option to start timing from when you start typing in the editor, lapped each time you hit submit, and stopped the timer when a submission was accepted, so that you had the option to keep track of how much time you spent coding, vs debugging, but I don't know how to balance that with its current elegant minimalist design. Maybe have more advanced lapping, auto-start, lapping, and auto-end in a pop-up? Idk, I'm not a front-end developer, and javascript makes my brain melt, but those would be cool features to have in the future.
