Disables the download bar at bottom of window

Description from store
Hides the downloads toolbar shelf from the bottom of the window and replaces it with a toolbar button which opens the downloads tab (similar to Firefox).
On laptop displays the default downloads shelf that appears is too large and distracting. Now it can be disabled!
This extension is free and open source.

- Google Chrome has Download Shelf disabled with no way to keep it permanently open. This extension would be better if it could toggle Download Shelf on and off. As with Google Chrome, this extension has absolutely no settings to customize.

- A little better than the other remove download bar ext, because I can open up the download tab. Although I could just press Ctrl + J. I just wish it would notify me if something downloaded like in Firefox

- Picked this because it's open source and the source code looks clean. I noticed in the code that it was supposed to work on install, but it didn't. I had to quit and reopen the browser to get it to work. Works perfectly now, tho. Thanks! Edit: Does not work in private windows.

- Indeed finally one that works fine! A small request tho? Can u make your button to flash maybe or add some kind of visual representation that file started download? I have no indication whether i downloaded or started downloading file or not..
