• (2023-01-02) Marko Burazin: Thanks for a great extension. I've been searching for something like this and out of all the options, this extension looks the most useful to me and my workflow. There are a few things so far which I would like to see implemented: 1. Add the ability to remove folders/tags that we create 2. Can you make the Obsidian export a bit more frictionless? Currently it's a download of the zipped file, which means I have to navigate to my downloads folder, unzip the file and manually copy over the markdown to the Obsidian vault. What would already be a big improvement is that a downloaded file is not zipped, but a .md file directly. That way I could just use my Obsidian folder as the browser's download location. Otherwise, also a "Copy as markdown" would work too, so when clicked it would be copied to the clipboard, after which I could just paste it into an Obsidian note. 3. Currently the extension is not working with the Brave browser. For some reason, the dot creates only the first note, but after that for further notes, typing dot doesn't add the new timestamp and note... Thanks! Hope you keep improving the extension, it definitely has potential to be perfect 😉.

• (2022-12-10) P L: Really excited to use this extension but there are some bugs that still needs to be ironed out. I like the simplicity and concept of it but at the moment there's intermittent bugs that makes it difficult to use. I'm currently using this on the Brave browser and here are some bugs I found. 1. Time stamp sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. After writing a sentence and sitting there waiting for the timestamp to be added it doesn't do anything. In some cases it works after a period and pausing. I'm trying to migrate my old notes from another app over to TubersLab but it's a struggle right now. 2. I'm in note taking mode and want to reposition the mouse cursor by pressing on < or > button but the video rewinds or forward instead. If think if you can allow custom keyboard shortcuts or have some toggle option for users to insert time stamps with a shortcut key, that would be awesome! Some of use like the video to be paused while taking notes while others prefer to have it running, would be a good option to allow users to do this in the Settings as well. The export option to Notion works very well and I was really pleased with that feature. For aesthetic reasons would be nice if Tunerslab could remove the bullet points next to each timestamp notes.

• (2022-11-01) Seraph: A great extension overall, amazing concept and as a student, so grateful it's free! Unfortunately, have run into an issue - firstly, the 'remember me' option doesn't seem to actually remember the login details for the next time you log in... secondly, I don't know why but the last time I logged in and out, although it (thankfully) saved the notes I made on my notes page, if I go to the actual video on YouTube, the notes are no longer there. Worst thing is that timestamps from notes only paste into the text box as plain text, so I lost them and all the screenshots too. Additionally, I think there should be an easier way to set your own hotkeys/ shortcuts for the extension functions. But apart from these frustrating bugs it is a wonderful extension.

• (2021-12-20) Cc Mm: hi I would give it a 5 star experience, but I find the pausing - taking notes - timestamp thing a little confusing, because I often write notes while playing the video. I think it would be MUCH easier and simpler if I could just click a button or press a keyboard shortcut to add a timestamp. please consider making this happen, I appreciate your work I really do.

It is super convenient that the video is automatically paused when the text is being typed. Started using it a while ago and lacks the following features. 1. Customizable hotkeys. Since I use Russian and English, I often need to switch between layouts (the keyboard shortcut includes Ctrl). It is a pain to insert a timestamp every time you switch the language. 2. Ability to edit/remove the timestamps in the note. I still can't figure out how to do this and whether there is such a possibility. 3. It would be very convenient to be able to edit saved notes and export them directly in the profile.

• (2021-09-23) venkat sai: loved this concept and was looking for years to get this kind of feature in youtube or any 3rd party finally got one.really useful when I am able to export this to other apps (notion,onenote..).I will be looking to come many more features.currently 1 problem i see is when i export the data to notion .The data gets added and time but the screenshot i took didn't got added.one feature i am looking is if i am able export to notion as a plain page,notion have a feature of table database so if i can export the note taken into table format really useful for online learners too.

And my phone can scan for a video sometimes but when u click in, it just shows can NOT be connected. I try to restart my mac, sign out and log in, it just can't work. I don't know why this happen but when u can't save, it's a panic feeling

• (2020-12-16) Brindha: I really would like this tool to work, but alas am having problems. When youtube is running in browser, the app in ios ipad doesn't always pick it up even after refreshing multiple times. I tried relogging in and also tried restarting the ios app. Same issue remains. It only connects to the video rarely after multiple attempts. Most of the time it shows the yellow info bar for refreshing. When I try to export the notes, nothing happens. I have linked to onenote and evernote. But no response when I click on it. Kindly help me resolve these issues as it can be a useful app.
