Description from store Change the redirect page to something a little more personal. This extension enables to user to select custom URLs to replace their default Chrome new tab page. Although the new tab page has gotten better of these years, some (myself included) require something a little personal. This extension allows user freedom in a lightweight and snappy package. Privacy Policy: Regarding the permissions required to automate the new URL redirect, this extension does not and will never record any user data. There is no hidden communication with any external sites. This project is open source and I would love your input to what should be changed.   • (2023-10-23) ChuckandNancy Brabec: It does not work for me. The url that I specified is file:///C:/ddrive/webpages/main.htm. When I open a new tab, I see a blank search bar.
  • (2023-10-18) Konrad W: It works with the current version of Chrome, and, as advertised, it is VERY FAST. I also love that a new tab clears and focuses the URL bar so you can immediately begin typing a search.
  • (2022-11-16) Albert Brothers: This extension works very nicely for me. I was being redirected to an unwanted page each time I opened a new tab. I scanned for malware several times but couldn't get rid of the problem until I happened on an article mentioning this Chrome Extension (Fast New Tab Redirect Reborn) and I added it to my chrome browser. Works perfectly.

  • (2022-01-08) Randall Lewis: I found 24 of these sorts of new tab redirect extensions. This one, after 3 days of testing, was the only new tab redirect extension that hardly ever flashed a blinding white screen during the redirect process (I use a dark browser theme, so that's a meaningful consideration). Also, this extension proved faster and smoother than any of the others. Finally, the extension did every thing it claimed to do It was worth trying them all out for this one - thanks!!.
