Search queries reveal a tremendous amount about ourselves. Advertisers then use this information to tailor advertisements to us. However, we don’t always want our private questions to become targeted advertising.

For example, you might look for information about a health issue. This is not something you want to be remembered and personally targeted for advertisements. Add our extension to your browser and when you type in the address bar, it will provide you with a quick access link to search in the Incognito mode.

If you want to remove our extension, go to “Settings” on Chrome, and find our extension in the “Extensions” tab. Click “remove”.

Permissions used and reasons:

* Access to “contextMenus”. This permission allows us to add important information tabs to the extension’s icon and provide more guidance to you on how to use our extension.
* Access to “activeTab”. This permission allows us to know which browser tab you are active in to be able to open the Incognito mode for the right page.
* Change default search settings. In order to provide the functionality of the extension, we require you to change your default search settings to securedbrowseapp.net, powered by Yahoo. This extension supports Yahoo, Google, and Bing. If you would like to change your search engine, you can go to the Settings of this extension and make the change.
