Image from store Highlink
Description from store Chrome extension for generating a special URL link to a text selection in a website. Most valuable for technical paper writers to improve the way they use annotations, references and quotes from websites. How to use it: • Select the text you want to create a link to. • Right-click the text and choose "Get Highlink to selection" from the context menu.. • You can now paste the link from your clipboard. For more information, see the Text Fragments specification (https://wicg.github.io/ScrollToTextFragment/) where this feature is described. This extension is open-source and licensed under the terms of the Apache 2.0 license.

I've detailed the problem with use. The Extension appears on the right click menu, but no URL appears in the clipboard. Here is a link to a Microsoft Steps Recorder (formerly called Problem Steps Recorder) session https://sites.google.com/site/chrislent/home/highlink-2020-07-21 which shows the download page and https://sites.google.com/site/chrislent/home/highlink-2020-07-21/Highlink%20failure%202020-07-21.zip?attredirects=0&d=1 which downloads the zip file. The zip file is an MHTML file with screenshots and user actions. This can be viewed in IE or Opera (Edge and Chrome don't display the images).
