Chrome extension for generating a special URL link to a text selection in a website.
Most valuable for technical paper writers to improve the way they use annotations, references and quotes from websites.
How to use it:
• Select the text you want to create a link to.
• Right-click the text and choose "Get Highlink to selection" from the context menu..
• You can now paste the link from your clipboard.

I've detailed the problem with use. The Extension appears on the right click menu, but no URL appears in the clipboard. Here is a link to a Microsoft Steps Recorder (formerly called Problem Steps Recorder) session https://sites.google.com/site/chrislent/home/highlink-2020-07-21 which shows the download page and https://sites.google.com/site/chrislent/home/highlink-2020-07-21/Highlink%20failure%202020-07-21.zip?attredirects=0&d=1 which downloads the zip file.
