Netflix with Elapsed Time displays the elapsed time from the beginning.

Image from store Netflix with Elapsed Time
Description from store Netflix with Elapsed Time displays the elapsed time from the beginning. If it does not work from the start, simply reload the page. It will only work when actually watching a video. The elapsed time might be 250ms out of sync, in case that is very important.

  • (2023-06-02) Zarahi Sanchez: Simple but does exactly what it says and I've never had any troubleshooing issues. Use this a lot because my work often requires me to grab screenshots and provide a timestamp for when it shows up in a series/film. Saves me so much time to just have it the timestamp there on the screen as opposed to always having to subtract the remaining duraton from the total running time.
  • (2023-03-24) koz 3: Only the total time is displayed, not the elapsed time....
  • (2023-03-07) Nawaf A: It just works, thanks.

  • (2022-05-27) Lewis Hamilton: 잘된다!
  • (2022-04-11) Nathalie Kayser: there is sadly an error where it display the first two numbers correct but then counts to high and has four more numbers at the end, for ex: 01:77:0-3571 instead of 1:17:59
  • (2021-09-12) Kaitlin Ritchie: This was brilliant but has stopped working since netflix has been updated :(
  • (2020-12-03) Matthew Davies: Works as intended. Thanks, helped me with referencing certain scenes in a movie report.

  • (2023-06-02, v:2.1.1) Zarahi Sanchez: Same idea for other streaming platforms
Is there any chance you would consider developing a similar extension for other streaming platforms? I would love to be able to see the elapsed time on Hulu and the newly redesigned Max (fka HBO Max). I really wish streamers gave the users the option to turn this feature on and off. Never heard anyone say they like seeing only the remaining time left in an episode or movie. It's such a basic and important component of any video streaming site. I can't imagine the outrage from users if YouTube videos only showed you the remaining time in a video!
