This Chrome extension pulls information from the Ruby Toolbox (https://www.ruby-toolbox.com/) to display on rubygems.org.

For example, if you're viewing a gem like simplecov at https://rubygems.org/gems/simplecov, it will pull the information from the Ruby Toolbox that it is "A long-lived project that still receives updates". Other gems will display other information based on the metrics that the Ruby Toolbox collects.
