How to use this extension:
Method 1: Type "GameSearch" (without the quotes) in the address bar and press the Tab button to trigger the custom search feature. Once you did that you can enter the video game title you are looking for and the results will be displayed in a new tab.
Method 2: Open a new tab page and click on the bottom left "Search for Games Safely" button and a search widget will be displayed. Enter the video game title you want to search for and enjoy the results.
Click 'Add to Chrome' to install SuperGame Search for free and search safely today! Adjust your experience with this extension in the settings widget at the bottom-right of your New Tab page. Click the "About" menu item in the extensions browser action to read through our permissions and why they're needed to give you the best New Tab experience. By installing our product, you agree to the EULA and Privacy Policy, links to which can be found below. Feel free to uninstall should you no longer want our product.

Our extension makes use of the permissions & features listed below.
Install Dialog: "Replace the page you see when opening a new tab" This means you are installing our new tab extension. Every time you open your Chrome browser you will see our website and all of its useful features.
"Read your browsing history" We use tabs to ensure we can offer you additional optional products. It also allows us to give you access to your daily feature and other useful tools. We do not store or transmit any of your browsing history.
"Change your search settings to: search.searchsmg.com" This allows us to offer you useful searching capability from the address bar with results that go to Yahoo.
"Read and change your data on all searchsmg.com sites" This allows our extension to work properly. We only request access to the websites we own and our extension uses to provide you with the correct functionality.
Additional Permissions Used:
- "Storage" Used to save technical information locally on the extension to ensure you see the right content.
- "Cookies" Cookies are used to ensure you get the right user experience when you install our extension. Our extension only grabs the cookies we set on our pages.
- "Alarms" This is to control the timing of daily feature ensuring you get access to helpful links as well as a personalized weather forecast. We use alarms to make sure you don't receive daily feature more than you should.
- "ContextMenus" This allows us to show you the "About" page in our browser action.
- "WebRequestBlocking" and "WebRequest" This allows us to properly show you the search results you are looking for by sending you to the right place. Without it you would end up seeing the wrong Yahoo search results.
