Description from store Automatic video quality on Youtube™ works randomly and weirdly. It could switch to 144p on wideband internet. It could also switch to 1080p on a cellular network. TubeHD forces video quality to be the EXACT as you set up. If you want 1080p - just select 1080p in our extension and it will be applied to all the videos. (2021-01-29) Stefan Grabe: It works perfect as expected! Of course, you have to know/ learn how to use it. It's dead simple. Just click it and chose your desired resolution. Done and it's working! I tried many other extensions which worsened the situation. I removed the other Extension and go with it for now. I suspect many bad reviews are probably fakes.

(2020-11-27) John Miller: Well, I won't give it a 1 star, because it did slightly improve my situation. But only barely. To be blunt, none of the videos actually stay at the setting I choose on the extension. For instance, if I choose 1080p, the videos still just play at "auto". The only thing that improved somehow, is instead of defaulting to 360p like they did previously (before installing the extension), now they default to 480p. So... far far far from "working", but better than nothing I guess.

(2020-11-21) Brett Romero: It works, but it broke a few websites. Specifically the comment sections. Bleacherreport.com and Gizmodo were 2 sites it caused issues on. This is on mobile, using the Kiwi browser. And switching to the desktop version of the site had the same outcome.

(2020-11-05) Łukasz Jonkis: Helpfull extension, especially since Youtube automatically downgrades your quality to 480p last 6 or 7 months. They really do try reduce that bandwitch because of pandemic.
