Description from store The Audio Equalizer allows you to adjust the balance between frequency components with a 10-band audio equalizer, many different sound settings and excellent control for quality sound. (2025-04-04) Jay Cie (Bry): Update for newer Chromebook 15, It was working fine and then had to take a Google update (reboot laptop) and the extension is now barely boosting the volume. This Chromebook needs an equalizer, as without it the speakers are too quiet. Hoping this new glitch is only temporary. [Am I the only one frustrated with system updates so often breaking things on a Chromebook (fault with Google not this extension.)] Older history: It boosted the volume quite well on my HP Chromebook 11 G4. But on the downside, often from website to website or YouTube video to video, the extension had to be set again ie, capture the new tab. That machine got to be older, and one day the internal speakers died. I wonder if that could possibly have been caused by boosting the volume with extensions?

(2024-12-17) Chuck Steinman: The latest Update broke the equalizer on Peacock. I get multiple sound streams when it is enabled. Also, every time they do an update, my custom settings are erased and I have to re-enter them. Getting ready to ditch this, it isn't being developed and tested before release.

(2024-10-05) Matt Moran: It works fantastic. I wish there was a way it would remember the tabs you use it on. So you didn't have to relaunch it every time you re-open Pandora or Youtube. When enabled it does work great though. How can you save the setting to your own profile? Once you modify the default you can't save?
