• (2020-10-20) Kathryn Sweeney: Really frustrating. Yes I have turned it on through the extension and it's updated. Doesn't block pop up ads either way. Wouldn't mind having one type of ad shown if it wasn't hentai -- which removal was said to be worked on within their own discord, but here we are. At this rate I'd prefer to block it all if it's going to be hentai. It's a shame because this is the best site for anime I've come across but the ads are ruining it.

• (2020-10-11) Eric: My 7 year old and my 14 year old both watch anime on this site. Just the other day my son comes up to me with a question and asks me what this pictures are on kickassanime. I come to his room to find hentai being pushed in my 7 and 14 year olds faces even though i had your "new" extension... Regular pop up blocker was working fine... But now I'm having to explain to my kids that your site is no longer working and even blocked its address. Thanks guys for showing this to my kids... I hope you guys gets sued.
• (2020-10-10) מיכאל שפירא: Doesn't work at all only because of the pop ups in your website. Every time I enter the website I get the same pop up that redirects the page that my anti-virus blocks. I can stay in the website only with ad blocks on because it prevents those redirections to other websites. The pop ups doesn't even open on new tabs or widows, it freaking change my webpage AND CLOSE YOURS! Even with ad block turned off, I can't browse the website. I hoped this extention will block these redirections at the very least. I personally don't mind the weird ads and hentai, but don't let your ads literally change my page even without clicking on stuff.

• (2020-10-07) Butterfly Dancer: It is awful after the change the was made. You have three options now and none of them keep the side ads from showing you just use the "Hide Ad" at the top option. Unfortunately when you load a different anime on the site the side ads pop up again and you have to hit the "Hide Ad" at the top of the screen again. JUST LET USE USE OUR OWN ADBLOCKER!

I wouild have gladly used it and switch my adblocker off but not like this. Whatever I switch on or off I can see the same exact amount of advs. I refresh, nothing changes. Maybe the popup blocker works but didn't try. Totally worthless at the moment. Please update. Or downgrade!

The hiding ads on the page does work but it also works with the hide ads button thats already given on the website it self. As for the part that prevents ads from popping up it does not work, which is really annoying because when I want to start the show an ad pops up and when I pause a show an ad pops up.

• (2020-09-28) eee: This is a pretty good adblocker. I can't use my regular one but this works fine. I have a pop-up blocker so the fact that I can't use both options doesn't really bother me. If you hate the pop-ups, then you can always get a blocker for that.

I have removed ad blocks completely, but then horrible horrible ads on kickassanime came up. Terrible adult games, unrelated shopping, and other "wrong" ads. This extension does nothing good.

• (2020-09-26) Aiden Williams: There is a site where if you want to use an adblocker it used to let you use anything but now it forces you to use this one but it gave me a virus and it doesn't work. I would not recommend it. (I have Norton and the virus still hit my computer bad so I REALLY would not advise this adblocker.)

I loved you guys, but forcing an extension like this that you haven't even properly tested down my throat doesn't make you particularly popular in my books. I didn't used to use addblocker with you guys until all the hentai advertisements riddled with viruses came onto the site. With this extension active on chrome, whenever I visit the site the whole screen flashes black and I can't see anything. However, deactivating this extension gives me 5 hentai popups per click, and a couple more during the video, so that's not an option either. Could you at least get the extension properly working before you force us to use it?
• (2020-09-26) Heather Peck: I would like to be able to disable all ads, including the pop-up ones I don't understand why you can't have both turned off for viewing. I can't share this website enough as is. I don't want this stuff in my search history or recommendations for ads. Please pick a better way to make funds instead of degenerate hentai. I would give better stars and allow ads just not the pop-up ones since they open links which can steal ip,etc when forced to open into these types of sites.
• (2020-09-25) Russel Johnson: After some fiddling I got it to work, the extension disables sidebar ads and conventional adblocker is dealing (at least well enough) with the popup ads since this extension will only block one or the other. But that being said, it feels like at best it's not doing anything, but at worst the extension has permission to read our data on all sites. Any way you look at it, it seems a little disingenuous. We would consider allowing ads altogether if the ads weren't quite literally all porn and hentai ads, *that* is the problem that needs to be addressed if you want revenue for the site.
• (2020-09-25) Bilgehan Demirel: You can't turn both "block popups" and "block side ads" on. It's annoying. If you want to keep revenue don't make a website with full of ads then i will think about turning off my adblocker. However now I don't want to use KAA to watch anime anymore.

• (2020-09-07) The Falling Alchemist: I was skeptical, Most anime sites and streaming services are pushing games or the like with adult theme etc. dealing with the relentless pop-up and redirects was beyond annoying, not to mention the adult related sites or games jumping up and having the kids see them. This plugin helped alleviate the majority of them. great job..
