Case interview math prep for future consultants.

Image from store Consulting Math
Description from store The best way to prepare for the math portion of consulting interviews is to practice throughout the day. Using the Consulting Math extension, you can easily do multiplication, percent, and division problems whenever you feel inclined to and set yourself up for success in the interview room. Use: With Consulting Math you can practice multiplication, percent, and division problems to prepare for case interviews. No matter what Chrome page you are on, click the green CM logo in the upper right hand corner of your screen to open the program. Select the operation type on the bottom of the popup and the problem difficulty using the buttons in the middle. Track your performance by seeing how long of a streak you can get! The easy level will test your basic math skills. Bump the difficulty up to medium to practice keeping track of your 0s. If you are up for a challenge, select the difficult setting to practice with larger and more complex numbers. Space has been provided on the right side of the popup to write out your work if necessary. Background: A BCG consultant once advised that the best way to prepare for the math portion of case interviews is to practice math randomly throughout the day. An issue I encountered when doing this was that I would easily become distracted when opening a new window or app and end up on Netflix or Instagram. Consulting Math was created so that you can practice math without leaving the page you are on. If you are ever surfing the web and are suddenly inspired to do some of this practice, you can now easily click on this extension and get it done. Space is provided to do work, and you can even track your performance by seeing how many you can answer correctly in a row. Best of luck prepping!
