Discernment.crx is a music video extension for the 2020 album The World Will Decide by Negativland by Dina Kelberman for the song Discernment by Negativland from their 2019 album True False.
When executed, the extension manipulates content on the website in time with the music, discerning the information on the page and improving it where possible. Discernment will not work on every website. The world and its internet may remain terrible despite use of this extension.

Hey first off thanks for this awesome project, really enjoy it! This isn't really a huge deal but just something I thought I would point out - after installing discernment and using it I noticed that in google/duckduckgo searches all search results would be highlighted, and additionally on GitHub all code boxes would be colored/highlighted yellow for any page I visited. Uninstalling discernment made this go away, which is a bummer because I'd like to keep it but have a hard time looking at code when it's highlighted bright yellow. Don't know if this is a feature or a bug but just thought I would let you know. Thanks again for the extension! - (2020-09-15, v:1.0.2) Finnius: is it possible...
Is it possible to get this extension as an actual file? I would like to archive it for the future. At present all i can do is click on it to install...but say i was offline? Oh BTW, it does work on Windows Edge...there is a setting to allow Chrome extensions to run on Windows Edge...lol
