Highlight all the kanjis you know from WaniKani on any given website! Easily figure out how readable a web page is based on your current WaniKani level.
Simply input your API token in from the WaniKani website and the extension is ready to go!

- (2020-09-08) Kayson Scavarelli (sudoscript): I love it! I recently did a reset of my WaniKani progress (Was level 8-10, or somewhere around there) so I am at the beginner stages for vocab and kanji. This is really nice for immersion purposes. Total immersion is great and all but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming when you are viewing a page and focus entirely on the vast majority of kanji and vocab you don't know. This app seems like a great way to more quickly focus on the kanji you know, so you can than branch out from there and read text with a little more ease. Or at the very least translate based on the context of the sentence using some vocab you know.

When you look at a wall of Japanese text it can be pretty intimidating, but this extension shows you that you actually know more than you may think and gives you the confidence to read the web page. I highly recommend this extension if you're a WaniKani user and would like to truly know how much you're learning so you gain the confidence to read Japanese text and gain the motivation boost to continue your WaniKani journey.
