Search and check the weather of your home, of your favorite locations, of the city where your loved ones live, and of the destinations of your next vacation directly from your address bar.
This extension is a smart tool to provide you the weather updates of the cities you care for. Simply type in the address bar and see the update in the autocomplete suggestions.
We detect the cities that you type in the address bar and provide you the update. You can also configure multiple cities in the Settings of this extension and save them as your “Top 3”, so the updates of these cities will always appear when you search. How to activate it? By typing keywords such as “forecast”, “precipitation”, “temperature”, or “humidity” in your address bar.
Permissions used and reasons:
1. Access to “cookies” (optional). We require this permission to provide your customized options for Settings. It’s optional because if you don’t change any default settings, we will not need it.
2. Change your default search engine to our private domain www.searchsafelypro.net powered by Yahoo. We require this permission to use our private domain as a placeholder and to provide you the functionality in the autocomplete suggestions of your address bar. Inside this extension, we support Yahoo, Google, and Bing. You can switch to a different provider at any time inside the Settings section.
How to remove this extension?
If you want to remove our extension, go to “Settings” on Chrome, and find our extension in the “Extensions” tab. Click “remove”. Alternatively, you can right-click on the extension’s icon on your browser and select “Uninstall” from the drop-down menu.
