Description from store ***Notice*** The service is currently down due to an issue with the email service provider. I'm working on resolving the issue, but currently have not ETA. ***Notice*** Email Me, YouTube! is a service that will send you email notifications when new videos are uploaded to YouTube channels you care about. If you like this service, consider supporting me on patreon. https://www.patreon.com/EmailMeYoutube Setup: 1. Download your subscription list. Navigate to your YouTube subscription manager page. https://www.youtube.com/subscription_manager Scroll down to the bottom and at the label 'Export to RSS readers' click the 'Export subscriptions' button.  This should export your subscription list into a file called 'subscription_manager.xml' 2. Navigate to the Extension options page Click the 'Extensions' button in the top right corner of the chrome browser, and then find 'Email Me, YouTube!' in the list and click 'Options' 3. Configure the service Click the 'Update My Email' button to make the service fetch your google email. This email will be the receiver of the email notifications. Then click 'Choose File' and navigate to the 'subscription_manager.xml' file you downloaded earlier. The page will list all of the channels that were included in your file.  After this, the service will start emailing you about new uploads, starting from the beginning of the current day. It can take up to five to ten minutes before you receive your first notification.  4. Updating your subscriptions  Whenever you add or remove a channel from your YouTube subscription list you will need to update this service as well, by following the steps detailed above.  When you do, any channels that you have unsubscribed from will be removed from your list, and for any you have added, you will start receiving notifications from the start of the current day. 5. Clear Email List  If you want to remove all of your current subscribed channels from the extension, you can click the 'Clear Email List'.  Be aware that this will remove the notification history from the extension, and when you later load a new subscription file, all notifications will start sending from the start of the current day. This does not affect your YouTube subscriptions, if you wish to unsubscribe from any channel, you will need to do this on YouTube.
