- (2023-08-31) Robert: I just want to let you know if you're still reading this, there is a text-entry error you've made. The previous frame label and the next frame label in the keybind options are reverse from where they should be. The one you set to previous frame will make it move forward by a frame, and the one you set to next frame will make it move backwards by a frame. I wondered where this problem was coming from since I set it to move any video on any site with the same controls that work by default in YouTube, and eventually thought to check this. Sure enough, it was the problem. Another problem this extension has is that in the same menu, the user interface for setting the keys does not respect dark mode or other theme preferences, and ends up placing white text onto a white background for the keybind entry fields, making them impossible to read without first highlighting the text. Because of this, I can't give it a great review, not that I really wanted to give it a review, I just don't have any better place to make a bug report.

- (2021-08-29) Joshua Beals: I teach high school physics and I LOVE this extension. Students can take video using the Slo-Mo setting on their phones with a background that has fixed distances marked. They upload the video to their Google Drive. Once the video has processed they can use the extension to play the video frame by frame to help calculate velocity and acceleration.

Only thing I would suggest is to have some custom settings for the overlay like the scale or visibility - right now it is kinda distracting sitting at and occluding the top left corner of the video playing - thus the reason to minus 1 star. I would love to come back and give it a 5 stars if that is resolved. Cheers for the great extension. Edit: Looks like the author heard our voices and made an option to disable the overlay, and that is exactly what I wanted! Thanks you for doing that! And as promised 5 stars for this great extension and the author!
