• (2020-10-21) Brandon Ross: Summary: bad practice from yahoo and it only works if you keep "yahoo" as the default search engine on chrome. Once you disable, the yahoo mail site goes back to normal. This extension was recommended by Yahoo Mail, as a way to enlarge the readable screen area. They are at least upfront that it will change your search engine and the extension is now called "yahoo search" so there's no false advertising but still scummy. Looks like I'll go with my OS's mail service for now.

  Open a free gmail account (or any other company you prefer), select all of the Yahoo Mail in your inboxes, hit forward and send them EN MASSE to your new account with the other company. Yahoo hasn't (and probably won't) take all of these "complaints" seriously, until it hits them in the wallet. They are not "free", they simply get their advertisers to pay, instead of their users. What do you think those advertisers will do when Yahoo loses 25% of their users? 50%? More? Although the answer is obvious, I'll state it for those who do not get it yet.....they will STOP advertising on Yahoo and enough revenue loss will speak to even the deafest of ears. I've got two e-mail accounts with Google, which do the job quite sufficiently. So, stop complaining and DO IT!
