Create one page resume
Struggling to get a call back from jobs you applied for? Well here is the problem, most companies use what is known as Applicant tracking system (ATS) instead of a person filtering the resume based on the qualifications on your resume. ATS is simple concept, all it does is that it searches your resume for keywords on job description. Obviously as a someone who is applying to job, you can't just copy and paste the job description in your resume. In case you don't know, that will most likely land you in black list. So how can you over come this problem? simple you use this chrome extension. You need to list out all your experiences in your previous jobs in the format defined bellow. You need to set the total number of points (experience) you want present on the resume, this is so that total number of points are limited to one page. You also need to fill out minimum number of points you want per job experience. Format you CV as such : [ First Job ] Point 1 Point 2 Point 3 [Second Job] Point 1 Point 2 ... Once you have done that you, need to copy this formatted cv into the chrome extension. You also need to set the total points and points per section at this time. Now it's time to let chrome extension's magic create curated resume for the specific job you are looking at. Go to a job in either on LinkedIn or Indeed, then just press Get Data. The curated resume will be copied into your clipboard. Paste it, and format your resume accordingly. Good luck on your job hunt!
