You worked on a ticket to save or update something on the Database and now, before moving to Ready-for-test, you want to post the expected results in the comments section so your QA knows exactly what to look for?
Your Options Are:
- Post a screenshot of the query result! But have a hard time choosing just the minimum necessary tables so it can all fit in the screen size.
- Post the query and let the QA do all the work! Thats cool when you don't have to check multiple tables to get into a conclusion.
Now you can simply transform the query into a JIRA table, no matter how many tables or rows. It supports JSON formatting columns and it is 100% free :)
Simply Export the Query result as CSV using whatever DB-access tool you have, paste on the extension popup, select the separator, which can be a single comma or semicolon depending on your region, and paste the result on the Text View of your JIRA ticket!
PS: Newest Jira Cloud Issue viewer does not support Text View anymore, this extension works for JIRA Server or Jira Cloud by choosing the old issue viewer.
