- It's a fantastic feature, but the only downside is that you can't set the width of the vertical tab display area below a certain level.

- Sadly, what used to be an excellent extension now has a performance/rendering bug that prevents it from functioning. This was reported 6+ weeks ago to the developer but there's been no response or activity. Perhaps the extension is abandoned? Until this is addressed I recommend looking elsewhere. https://github.com/samihaddad/vertical-tabs-chrome-extension/issues/117

- 5 Stars from me but it is partially broken currently in Chrome "Version 145.0.7632.160 (Official Build) (64-bit)" where the groups don't expand collapse from the sidebar itself. This functionality still works using the top tab bar, clicking a group correctly toggles between expanded and collapsed state. Is this issue being actively worked on ?

- Folks please stop asking for this extension author to remove "tab bar at the top". Extensions CAN'T do that. :) For whatever an extension is allowed to do, this one does a great job. And chrome is already working on adding vertical tabs support natively so you won't need this soon...

- It's simple but it works. As someone who's deep in the Google ecosystem, it really annoys me how Chrome is lagging further and further behind other browsers. This gives at least a simple tab overview in the sidebar (which you can move to the left).

- I would make this five stars if the extension had the following basic features, which Edge and others have: 1. The tab icons at the top should be able to be hidden. 2. The tabs should be able to be grouped by dragging and dropping one tab onto another to create a new group. 3. Tabs should be able to be added to a group by dragging and dropping to a closed group. 4. Tabs should be able to be dragged and dropped to be the last tab in a group. 5. When I drop a tab into a new group, the closed group next to it should not suddenly open!

- This is helpful for the new Perplexity Comet Browser, since it doesn't include vertical tabs natively. I would prefer the option to somehow pin the sidebar to the left side (mirroring Edge), since the Comet Assistant gets pushed into the center of the page when both are active.

- I think it's a fantastic extension. Much needed in the world of tabs. I would like the ability to reduce the width of the pane itself, but I'm not sure if that's a chrome limitation or not. Seems to be only as small as around 380px.

- Some key functions is not minimum usable and also anti-chrome browser function patterns: 1. New tab add to group: this is important to me as I have many tabs (>30 in a window) to manage and most of the time I want to move the tab to a project collection; the feature doesn't list out all groups, which means often I have to do workarounds. 2. Close group: there is a difference between "close group" (close tabs but group stays in project), and "delete group" (like cleaning out the project). However the extension feature of "close group" is the same as "delete group", which is frightening because I almost lost a whole group of important project tabs. Pls fix these 2 most important features above and I would love to come back and re-try again. I do love your UI and cleanness of the extension! :)

- Vertical tabs extension - Horizontal & Side bar - limitations - Not able to resize side bar , So it occupies major portion of display , that's too much for 24'' display. Cannot hide Horizontal bar . Though these are mentioned , I gave it a try but looks clumsy

- Minimal vertical tabs extension (doesn't have any options unlike VertiTab for example) Works great and doesn't have any bugs though. Not my cup of tea as I like to customize more but giving it 5 stars for the great implementation. Thank you!

- I have relied on vertical tabs for years and was sad to see it leave windows. This is almost a great replacement. I will use it but it needs to be adjustable (width) and it would look better and more integrated if it was tabs. It should also replace the horizontal tabs. We don't need both. So---change the look, and make them adjustable.

- Pros: 1: integrated inside same chrome window same like tree style view in Firefox. Cons: 1: we can not reduce width, lots of space is blocked because of this. 2: no tree style view
