• (2021-06-07) Cerberus: 2021 - Update To download an album, first and foremost, click any picture. Then, click the extension. It will not work if you don't click the picture. If it doesn't work, turn off your ad-blockers or use incognito.

Click the latest (=newest) image in the album that you wanna download and then when seeing the image click the extension icon, it then goes through all the images one by one from the current pic backwards and opens each in the current tab. Its not very elegant but you can just minimize the tab and let it do its thing. Managed to download a 2000 pics album, it took a while (30-60mins?). With giant albums you probably want to keep an eye on it and abort it every now and then and save the partial download (perhaps when close to 1000?) and then resume from the pic where it ended and make notes to know where to resume in case you crash or something. No other extension or downloader worked, i tried many, but this one did. Great stuff, thanks

• (2021-05-22) Umut Oğuz: It's a very, very bad practice. He scans the photos one by one. This app may try to download a gallery with hundreds or thousands of images over the course of days. Instead, they should have made an application that could take the links to all the images in the gallery and then download them immediately. It sucks in a word!

• (2021-02-08) Rosa Hughes: Wow it worked! Make sure the extension button is visible by pinning the 'Album Downloader for Facebook' extension to the top of your chrome browser. Open up the first picture of the album you want to download, then click the 'Download facebook album' button that you pinned earlier. It will cycle through every picture in the album and give you an option to download them all when it is finished (or when you click abort).

• (2021-01-16) Prince Kha: HI! Just used it. I really needed an extension to download photos of an album from Facebook. Those who are complaining , all you need to do is download the extension and then click on one of the photos you want to download , this extension automatically fetch the photos one by one. After that it will give you the options of downloading the photos ( multiply download : normal download or download photos as a zip file). I hope it helps.

  Das Programm überspringt beim Scannen mehrere Bilder, bzw. es lädt nicht jedes Bild. Während des Scann Vorganges hört das Programm plötzlich auf zu Zählen, wodurch Mehrere Bilder nicht mitgespeichert werden, als Beispiel: ich habe 500 Bilder die ich gerne Runterladen möchte, im Endergebnis habe ich anstatt der 500 Bilder nur 420.

  When I download an album that contain photos from multiple profiles, including my friends, it only downloads the photos from the user profile and not the photos that appear in the gallery from other users. Please can you look into solving this? Thanks for a great extension :)

  Congratulations on the extension! But I have a few questions... Can the plugin download photos from pages, groups, albums in groups, messenger photos, tagged photos and photos of from a profile?
