Don’t refresh the page frantically while waiting for an important update.
Autorefresher can refresh the page for you periodically.
How it works:
1. Click on icon in extension toolbar / menu
2. Optionally you can pin the icon
3. Enter update interval in seconds
4. Press the Start button ▶️
Also, you can
1. Clear all automatic refreshes that you set up
2. Pause refreshes with on/off button in the right-top corner of the popup
Also, we suppress page alerts like “Do you want to reload this site”.

The reason is some pages such as forums have a url which redirects eg www.my_favorite_forums.org/id=123?page=last so if I could enter this page and have it auto refresh it would automatically go to the last page each refresh eg: www.my_favorite_forums.org/id=123&page=456

If it allowed to edit the list of URLs as plain text, and to use basic regular expressions (for example, to set a refresh over a whole subdomain or subdirectory), I would give 5 starts without a doubt.
