  • (2023-09-04) Robert Buzink: This doesn't seem to work with the latest qbittorrent version (probably everything after v4.1). An alternative that does work is Remote Torrent Adder. See https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/remote-torrent-adder/oabphaconndgibllomdcjbfdghcmenci
  • (2023-03-23) Mikhail Sopin: Не работает, требует сервер и выбора серверов нет
  • (2023-02-23) Jaeger Amzallag: Worked for a while, dead with new versions of qbittorrent. Seems like the dev gave up.
  • (2022-03-21) 5kernels: How to set default server? Every time I use a plug-in, "server" needs to be select. Even though I only have one server...
  • (2022-02-14) Rick Wilkerson: Seems to be a dead extension, it kinda worked some of the time but would quit unexpectedly. Could not reliably add Qbitttorent servers which was a deal breaker. I am not being nasty, I appreciate the effort in putting yourself out there and supporting something for no reward. It is just that if you are going to publish it, it should work reliably. Try Remote Torrent Adder
  • (2022-02-09) Goku: hi, i have problems trying to add private torrents , i did not have this issue with nas synology downloader , can you take a look to see if you can solve it ? qBittorrent v4.4.0 Interfaz Web (64-bit)
  • (2022-01-22) alekss: It is unintuitive to use this extension, but at least it works
  • (2021-08-18) Jordi Kruit: qbit but epic
  • (2021-07-11) Andrei: Better UI!
  • (2021-06-09) mcquiggd: It seems to check if you are logged in *every second* - and displays an error message if you are not logged in, which is the only real annoyance in an otherwise good extension.
  • (2021-01-09) Sophia: It's a big upgrade over the default qbit web ui

  • (2023-05-05, v:0.0.8) Jeremy R: Cant Add Servers
It looks like its performing a GET request instead of a POST when trying to login/add
  • (2022-11-13, v:0.0.8) Evgeny Knopka: Can't add server
Can't add server. Invalid Hostname or port. But hostname 127.0.0.1, port 8080, after click "save" hostname changed 127.0.0.1:8080. In browser tab host 127.0.0.1:8080 is opening. System Archlinux
  • (2022-08-25, v:0.0.8) Roy Nahum: Server not working since latest client upgrade
i have been using this extension for some time to add torrents on my download PC remotely via another PC. I upgraded to the latest client yesterday. As of today, i am no longer able to use this extension - my server details are not recognised. When i try to set up the server with the same IP address i get an error message "invalid hostname or port" WebUI is enabled and working fine
  • (2022-02-12, v:0.0.8) Rick Wilkerson: Unable to add Servers
I can access the WebUI of two QBittorrent servers in separate tabs of my Chrome Browser, however when I try to add the same server I simply get "Invalid Host Name or Port" This has happened when trying to add two different QBittorrent servers on my network. Using HTTP so no cert is needed. No log to check that I am aware of, any ideas for troubleshooting?
  • (2022-02-01, v:0.0.8) Brandon Kamaka: "Save files to location" ignored?
When setting the "save files to location" field to a path on adding a torrent, the completed torrent does not go to that path. Checking the torrent details shows the path as the default path, instead of the one set when the torrent is added. I know the path is good and qbitorrent has write privileges to it, since setting the same path in the official webUI works just fine.
  • (2021-08-27, v:0.0.8) Bich Hoang (Bicster): Default Server
Right mouse click to add a torrent/magnet link, I have to choose a server. Can it automatically select the server if there is only 1 server and start? I can't seem to find an option to do this.
  • (2021-04-28, v:0.0.8) mcquiggd: Works great on Chrome, but can't login when using Microsoft Edge Chromium
Nice extension! I realise this was written specifically for Chrome, but as Edge now supports Chrome extensions, being based on Chromium, I thought I would give it a try... For some reason, when entering the exact same server details, when using Edge, I always get the message 'Invalid Credentials'. Even when copying and pasting...
  • (2021-03-21, v:0.0.8) Andreas Kräuchi: categories
great addon, still a small problem. Categories don't show up when I try to select one for a new torrent. And if I click on a already added torrent it does not display the category the torrent is in
  • (2020-12-28, v:0.0.7) glin tidd: Right-click to add torrents
Hi there, would it be possible to add an option to simply right-click on a magnet link to add it qBittorrent?
  • (2020-11-14, v:0.0.5) Mikkel Glenvig: Possible to use with reverse proxy?
Hey, so my qbittorrent is running on a raspberry pi behind a vpn, so I have set up a reverse proxy through nginx which changes the host/url for my qbittorrent webui to https://mydomain.com/qbt/ or https://mydomain.com:443/qbt/ <-- this got it working in transdrone. Is something like this possible with your extension? or is it something that you could make possible? Kind regards Mikkel
